Penn State now with 4x top 10 2027 commits with Sidun, Burnett, Shepherd and Mangano. #2, 6, 8 and 10.
When did he commit? They are down on talent so they really need to nail 2027 and 2028 class. It’s a stockpiling of talent competition now between PSU and OSU. OSU finally beat them in 2026, so Carl coming back with the vengeance in 2027. Poor OSU only has 2 top 10 in 2037.Penn State now with 4x top 10 2027 commits with Sidun, Burnett, Shepherd and Mangano. #2, 6, 8 and 10.
the can have a 50 percent of their guys bust at this point. Other programs have to hit 100 on blue chippersPenn State now with 4x top 10 2027 commits with Sidun, Burnett, Shepherd and Mangano. #2, 6, 8 and 10.
We need to keep the pressure on 27' & 28'. I hope we can do that & hold onto current commits with all the crap being talked nationallyWhen did he commit? Shepard is a stud, he’s from my region. Great prospect and he sat all of last year due to injury. He should be a 2 times state champion/3 time finalist in Indiana. I thought he was going to follow Jesse Mendez and go to tOSU; but I suppose PSU came in and showed interest because PSU wasn’t even on his list of colleges he was considering.Penn State now with 4x top 10 2027 commits with Sidun, Burnett, Shepherd and Mangano. #2, 6, 8 and 10.
Facundo is certainly capable, but has never been an AA in college. In fact, he has never won a match in the NCAA tournament - went 0-2 in 2023.According to AI:
Oklahoma State, Iowa, and Nebraska are among the teams that benefited most from the 2025 wrestling transfer portal by acquiring significant All-American talent to bolster their lineups for the current 2025-2026 season.
Key Teams and Notable Additions
The transfer portal activity was robust, with several major programs adding proven talent.
Team Notable Transfers Acquired Key Accolades/Impact Oklahoma State Richie Figueroa, Casey Swiderski, Alex Facundo, Zack Ryder Figueroa is a 2024 NCAA champion. Swiderski and Facundo are All-Americans, with Ryder being a top prospect with significant eligibility remaining. Iowa Nasir Bailey, Sammy Alvarez, Dean Peterson Bailey was a 2024 All-American (4th place). Alvarez was also a 2025 All-American. Peterson is a two-time NCAA Round of 12 finisher who can immediately fill a key lower weight spot. Nebraska AJ Ferrari, Chance Lamer Ferrari, a 2021 NCAA champion and 2025 All-American, is a national title contender at heavyweight. Lamer is a multiple-time NCAA qualifier. Iowa State Rocky Elam, Stevo Poulin, Vinny Zerban Elam is a four-time All-American, providing instant firepower at 197 lbs. That's an understatement...and it's not just because of AIAI forgot Williams and has Alvarez if AI is the future we are fu*cked
Penn state and Oklahoma state are stacked at certain weights if he did wanna come to iowa I say take him plus it would be sweet to cheer for a guy named shamusToday on Baschamania they said Shamus Regan’s final 3 schools are Iowa, Missouri, and Army.
I believe we are really packed in his projected weight so I would say he goes to MIZZOU. He’s a great prospect and wish him the best! Would be wild if we did land him though.
I say we keep stockpiling talent & let it sort itself out but we need to start stocking the upper middle weightsToday on Baschamania they said Shamus Regan’s final 3 schools are Iowa, Missouri, and Army.

184-285 are stacked deep into the future with Ferrari, Ludington and Keuter/ Mocco. Even 174 should be set for a while if Arnold can get there and stay there comfortable.I say we keep stockpiling talent & let it sort itself out but we need to start stocking the upper middle weights
174 is Arnold for 2 years starting next year. He will be a junior when class of 27 are freshmen, so if there is someone in that class to step in to 174, they will be able to redshirt. No one in 27 fits that description yet. If we could land a big time upper middle in 28, he could step in as a starter as a true freshman if they wanted to. Our only 28 members so far are lower weight’s , with one big target also a lower weight, but there is plenty of time yet to recruit that class. Bassett is now actively recruiting whoever Vtech wants to go after. Though Regan would end up there. Must not want him. His ranking on Flo has dropped, but not as dramatically as the California kid we were after who committed to tOSU. Agree on stockpiling and letting nature take its course after they get here, but aren’t the number allowed on the team much more limited now? Don’t want mostly light weights taking most of the spots.184-285 are stacked deep into the future with Ferrari, Ludington and Keuter/ Mocco. The one big upper weight question mark is going to be 165. Replacing Caliendo isn’t something done easily and it looks the transfer portal is the only way that can happen for next season…unless Bailey can make 133 next season they probably need to pull off the same thing there for another year until the ‘27 class shows up.
Cj Torres should be at 65 next year after his greyshit he's intriguing but dont know if he'd be ready to go next year184-285 are stacked deep into the future with Ferrari, Ludington and Keuter/ Mocco. Even 174 should be set for a while if Arnold can get there and stay there comfortable.

Need to land some 27' or 28' projected 65 - 84 guys imo. I get Ferrari wil be here till 29 but if he's injured or something we need some talent behind him. Gabe will only have 2 years after this season & at 65 I like Torres but probably a good idea to have another option there. 97 & hwt are both more secure especially if we land Hutcherson184-285 are stacked deep into the future with Ferrari, Ludington and Keuter/ Mocco. Yep. I was just pointing out that the upper weights are in really good shape for the time being. The focus needs to be at 165 and 133. Recruiting top talent and letting it sort itself out is a great thing to have, but it only works when you don’t have holes elsewhere….174 is Arnold for 2 years starting next year. 65 & 33 need to be the focus of the portal for next year otherwise 33 is strong beyond thatYep. I was just pointing out that the upper weights are in really good shape for the time being. Upper weights have been their brightest spot lately. Buchanan won it at 197. Before that Warner was a 4xAA. Kueter AA’d as a freshman. Kennedy got better every year and took 4th. 184 now has Ferrari and Caliendo has been a beast at 165.But can tnt develop upper weights?
Caliendo is a beast, but is 165 an "upper weight "? Splitting hairs, but that's the top of the middle weights. LolUpper weights have been their brightest spot lately. Buchanan won it at 197. I would say they have done a great job dispelling the myth that they are only lightweight coaches. In fact, 125-157 is all of a sudden where almost all the question marks are right now and I kind of like it that way. Short of injury they have proven themselves to get the most out of those weight in March. I would much rather they need to fix that area than the upper weights!
He listed results at the other 4 upper weights as well. If you’re just here to argue you may have found your huckleberry in MSU.Caliendo is a beast, but is 165 an "upper weight "? Splitting hairs, but that's the top of the middle weights. Lol
lol most duals have or at least had intermission AFTER the lower weights finished I.e. 125-157. Then, after intermission the upper weights, 165-285 would start…Caliendo is a beast, but is 165 an "upper weight "? Splitting hairs, but that's the top of the middle weights. Lol
Another Sandusky dumbass in the house. But can tnt develop upper weights?
Makes me want to throw up....Dhabolt to ISU
He's been doing privates with Perry for a few months now they were in the lead .Surprising L for Okie State.
I thought people on here were saying his dad was a big hawk fan? If we lost him, I thought it would be to OSU.His dad and Larry Jackson had a club called Hammertime when Max was younger. As most of you know Larry wrestled at ISU and is tight with the Dhabolt's. Not surprised at all that he chose ISU.
There were times we loaded up on in state guys that were room guys when the in state talent wasn't there but then don't get actual high end guys like Garvin, Ross and Dahbolt with two of them going to big rivals.Dhabolt to ISU
You’re mad we don’t have Garvin? Are you serious? Ross and Dhabolt are still in high school, we have no idea how they will turn out in college. Ross is obviously the best of this bunch you listed but he’s also had major injury problems in high school. There were times we loaded up on in state guys that were room guys when the in state talent wasn't there but then don't get actual high end guys like Garvin, Ross and Dahbolt with two of them going to big rivals.
So the new feel good for not getting a recruit is they are still in highschool and we have no idea how they will turn out in college? Got it. Ross had a shoulder injury, injuries can happen as we know far too well. He wasn't even wearing a brace in the recent video I saw so must be doing ok. Hopefully the Mocco kid was the way to go. Ross is definitely not your ordinary heavyweight athlete though. You’re mad we don’t have Garvin? Are you serious? And what about the high end Iowa guys that we do have? Ayala a 2x NCAA finalist. Kueter 1AA in 1 season. Block finally healthy and looking like an AA (maybe even high AA).
So it begs the question who's the next man in, recruit-wise, at Dhabolt weight.Iowa landed 3 top 10s in this class + 2 more in next years class it would have been great to land Dhabolt but TnT got a hell of a class already.
Lucas Boe?So it begs the question who's the next man in, recruit-wise, at Dhabolt weight.
