I've heard that whole thing had to to with Iowa bringing in Angelo & AJ. If so we won big on that deal
That was probably the most "PC" way to put it, but it was pretty apparent that they went after the Ferraris well aware of any issues it may or may not cause the Chittums. If Chittum was that good, they may not have or they absolutely would have worked with them to find a way to make the Ferraris work.

One thing the Brands have shown after what happened with the Bassetts is they aren't going to be held ransom.

I think the bigger issue is size. It’s doubtful either will be anything but heavyweight.
I think that Peter is only 2 years behind and in the same class as in the same class as Hutcherson, who is 190 as sophomore and could be a small heavy weight in college. That’s assuming we can get him.

CBA is scheduled to be there, based on their schedule and Beast of the East webpage.
I thought so too but neither Kenny brother is listed on Flos list of all ranked wrestlers at Beast of the East

I posted here a couple yrs ago. My son used to hang out with KnoxAt the time, my son said it was between Iowa (where he wanted to go) but his parents wanted him to go Ivy. It’s been a couple years but wondering if this is still the case. I could definetly see him going to you guys

the father runs the show and I know he’s close with DeLuca so maybe he doesn’t want to step on his toes?

We need a 133 next year 👀👀 we would just need to redshirt and Olympic shirt for Paul Kenny.

Knox was a training partner with DeLuca and really close with him.

Any insiders on this? Do we have a chance or it doesn’t make sense lineup wise?

Can't see how the kid resisted going to Iowa in that case, especially after Telford called the next morn....

If Paul Kenny took a grey shirt, that aligns him with his brother's timeline and then it would just be a 1 year overlap with Knox.

With that kind of talent, he makes sense anywhere. I get it DeLuca is slotted for 125 (Knox is probably better). How long does Knox hold 125? He sure would make some sense at 133.
They wrestled once in high school and Knox won with a last second takedown but deluca looked like the better wrestler the majority of the match. I personally prefer deluca but if Knox is big enough for 33 that would be a great get

starocci and steroid boy great character
Not out of high school. Knox went into the bleachers and landed several punches on the head of a minor. Other than in New Jersey, where giving beat downs could be put on your resume as an extracurricular activity, he probably would have been booted off his team. What do you think happens to him if he did that in college?

IF the kid wants to come to IOWA??? You get him and figure the rest out!!! Kids grow, red shirt, injuries happen etc..... Kid is a HAMMER, and we need 10 BOTTOM LINE!!!!

OH, just STOP with the fight BS!!! I was not there but it was clearly stated that a braul broke out, he saw his mom and dad in the mix and went to help. Again, was not there but IF my mom and dad are in the stands and there is a fight, I'm getting my *** up there and will figure the rest out!!!!

He's still not clear of that situation he has a trial Jan 7. But I don't see that having an effect on him getting in a state school.

I put 98% of the blame in that situation on the father. What would you do if you were the kid and your parents were in a scuffle surrounded by hostile fans? That incident wouldn't sour me on the kid one iota.

Father is an ex MMA fighter with prior arrests including for fighting. He was in the process of kicking and stomping a spectator on the floor. Laughable position that the son should have entered the fray.

Your portrayal of the incident sounds like he got into a scuffle with hostile fans in the area he was sitting. He left his area to go to the section and started the fight in the other section.

Spoken like a 40 year old (or whatever you are)....the kid was 17, I don't think reacting like he did was out of the ordinary of what most kids would do.
