Recruiting comparison - RU vs OSU

For those who are saying it was bad coaching, they should have played better, or a expected a closer game. The results should not be a surprise. Looking at OSUs recruiting compared to ours is scary!

2011 - 9th overall (year of Cardale and Miller) 14 4 star recruits
2012 - 4th overall 14 4 star recruits
2013 - 3rd overall 19 4 star recruits (Barrett, Bosa, and Elliot)
2014 - 3rd overall 16 4 star recruits

Honestly, how does anyone expect to compete with that? They are playing against a team of first round draft picks. It is men against boys. The blowout loss is right along with the talent of each team.

The problem is MSU, Michigan, and Penn State are now recruiting that well too.... So we're supposed to just give up and accept 5th place in our division at best every year?

I'm too lazy to do it, but Michigan's recruiting classes were up there too, and we beat them last year. It's Jimmy's and Joes and X's and O's, and nobody is better at both than Urban Meyer.
