Just read on Bulldawg Junction that reportedly CJ Johnson posted a FB status asking State fans to quit messaging him and leave him alone. This is just one example of how out-of-hand this stuff is getting. Too much information available. Endless speculation. Eager, bored fans obsessing over the whims of kids. Any adult sending facebook messages to recruits needs to cut off the computer and take a step back. In CJ's case, they certainly haven't helped our cause.<div>

</div><div>Recruiting services such as Rivals and Scout are devolving into tabloids. They make things much worse. I wish there was a way to limit contact and give the kids some privacy, but I don't know the best way to do that. I don't generally like regulation, but this stuff is out-of-hand.</div>

In fact, I copied your earlier "tobacco" post and sent it to all the recruits on their facebook pages. They then told me there is no way they'd go to a school where someone would say something like that.

You have to be the most delusional fan I've ever seen. I think you genuinely believe Ole Miss fans do all kinds of underhanded stuff, while MSU sits by pure as the driven snow.

You honestly believe deep down that Ole Miss pays players and MSU doesn't. You honestly believe Ole Miss coaches send copies of what State fans say about recruits to the recruits and State coaches don't. You honestly believe Ole Miss fans would create fake facebook accounts to pretend to be MSU fans and MSU fans wouldn't do the same.

It's amazing to me the blind homerism. In your opinion, you believe State is just a victim. Nothing that has happened this year is anything new, and it comes from both sides.

and the referencing of negative message board posts and now facebook messaging. I do think a lot of its probably been uncalled for and I certainly wish it would stop but come on folks we all know that these particular recruits being referenced turned cold toward MSU, for whatever reason, long before ANY of this supposed "negative" stuff ever happened. Its been obvious that events and influences behind the scenes have been going on with these guys for quite a while now, at least back into mid December, and it has little to do with message board posts and facebook messages.
