I am hoping the coaches are looking to take advantage of some December signees that would count back to last year. <div>
</div><div>DB: What is interesting is that we are bringing in 3 cornerbacks for visits: JT Turner (Scottsdale AZ CC), Travell Dixon (East AZ) and Dehendret Collins (EMCC). Anyone read anything into this? Does this signal Banks going back to safety after Mitchell leaves? Of course some of these JUCO guys could be safeties as well. Dixon is a beast and would be a huge get.</div><div>
</div><div>OL: Looks like we are still after Glauser on the OL - but not any other apparent targets - if we could just get Glauser I think we would be in good shape though. </div><div>
</div><div>DE: Autry is still a target but a longshot it appears. This has to be the second most important position when it comes to the impact a JC guy could have. Unfortunate that we only have one apparent target that isnt likely to sign with us. </div><div>
</div><div>WR: There are rumors of some JUCO WR we are really interested in as well.</div>

We need to bring in some good juco linemen. I think we're on 4 at the moment. The committed center, and hopefully Glauser will be the ones we get. Hawkins is looking around, but I expect him to stick with OK State. I would love to have him though.

If we can find a good player at CB- the ideal move is to move Banks to F/S and The Enforcer to SS<div>
</div><div>Mullen calling plays behind this OL has made him realize we need a couple of guys in- Glauser probably wont be the only one</div><div>
</div><div>Doubt we find a DE- but still looking</div><div>
</div><div>The juco WR, if we can pull him, would be an impact player</div>

As far as the DBs portion of your post is concerned. A friend of mine told me something awhile ago that I didn't think about yet. An achilles rupture is pretty serious (whitley) and he said (and I agree) there's not many people who completely recover from that injury! (As i've said earlier too) Don't completely depend on Banks coming back next year (if i'm wrong I will take the flaming OPENLY). With those things said that takes away Mitchell, Whitley (breaking in 2 brand new Safeties is BAD!) Bonner and JB. Broomfield'll be back, Slay, Jamerson, Dee Arrington, Z. Jackson, (hopefully) Justin Cox, L. Watson & T. Calhoun all at DB. If Cox gets here he's an INSTANT plug-in at CB. Possibly more gifted atheletically than JB. Dee Arrington is pretty good too. Darius Slay has good potential as well. Not sure who's gonna play safety. Thames being silly & getting the boot REALLY is gonna impact us next season! The kid played MLB in highschool against some damn good competition and ACTUALLY knew HOW to tackle & not try to headhunt.

and by "something changes," I mean that he's definitely not coming, because what he doesn't like isn't going to change.

I agree, if Whitely doesnt recover, not only will that suck because of the all-world potential he has, it will be a huge hit to our secondary. I just can't let myself believe that we will be without JB and Whitley next year.<div>
</div><div>I have heard the same things about Cox and apparently he is intent on sticking with State. </div>

We've had some pretty solid success there before. Jackie won with JUCOs. But he also shat the bed with JUCOS, too. I am honestly surpised Mullen hasn't already gone this route. The system here is too rich to ignore.

An achilles rupture is not as hard to come back from than an ACL tear which Nickoe has already returned from. Banks will be back no doubt about it, and Whitley will recover fine. Also, Justin Cox will still be in JUCO next year so I don't know why you are mentioning him. Thames is rumored to be returning to the team also. You saying Dee Arrington is pretty good pretty much voids your credibility if your previous points hadn't already. Dee Arrington will be All-SEC in a few years. In my opinion losing Mitchell and Bonner wont hurt at all.

In factmany say it's strongerafter recovery than ever before. No way to tell whetherhe'll be 100% by the start of nextseason, or if he'll even be ready. Butconsidering he'll have a professional training staff helping him rehab, I've got to believe he'll beon the fieldcome next September. Heck - Iknow people who've run marathons within 1 year of surgery. Main thing is to notrush it for the first 6 months.

Turner is now a safety. He's 6'2"-6'3" and 200-210. I think we're after him for depth at safety both just because we're losing Mitchell and Whitley is a question mark.<div>
</div><div>Banks may very well be gone. He's mocking late 2nd-early 3rd right now.</div><div>
</div><div>But I think the main reason we're seeing JUCOs pop up is because we can count 3 mid-year enrollees back toward last year and sign an additional 25. Now that JUCO evaluations are mostly done, we're going after specific targets. I would love to add Glauser, but I don't think it's going to happen. I think you'll see Turner and either Rone or another OL. I doubt we'll sign a DE since Autry is most likely not coming.</div>

Um Squiddog.....JB is NOT coming back next year unless he gets hurt before the draft. I know the guy. He's got what is called MSN PROBLEMS. I'm not some idiot who posts stuff just for posting. These are the words from HIS mouth. I don't need u to give me your "approval" I know what I know. And that's that. When the year's over you'll see.

I haven't fought in a while dude. I've concentrated my efforts on coaching football. My QB's close to JB & JB has come to some of our games this year.
