Does anyone want to start a recruiting website?
We can search message boards all day to see what the local 34's are saying about recruiting, and then have a chat every night throwing out the latest rumors while claiming we are "hearing it from our sources". And then when the recruit chooses someone completely different we will say, "they obviously made a late push". Meanwhile, we will be charging people monthly for us to sit on our fat asses all day and bring nothing valuable to the table.
I don't know how much money guys like Robertson make....but if it's a dollar it's too much for what they provide. As a matter of fact, I think he has hurt MSU recruiting more than anything else he's done over the years. So basically, we have a boat load of fans that pay guys like Gene and Steve to hurt the program.
I had seen it all when my buddy showed me a "Premium" interview with Jean interviewing Kailo this year. At the time, Kailo was "committed" to MSU. Jean spent 10 minutes asking the guy if he thought he could play defensive end better than Chris Jones, and who would win between he and Deon Mix in a foot race. He asked him which MSU commit could eat the most, and if he could out-eat Chris Jones. I kept thinking eventually he would ask him a football question, but he NEVER did. Seriously? People pay for that ****?
I would rather pay C34 for far fetched rumors that are least entertaining, than to pay Jortfro and Tubbs for "recruiting expertise" on Scout (don't get any ideas Coach, it was just a comparison). Both are about as reliable, but at least Coach doesn't charge for his rumors.
