I was watching them talk about how tsun will offer big time recruits through out the country even though they might not have a shot just to see if they can flip a few. Does Mullen do this? If he doesn't he should. Maybe we could get a few down here and you never know.

Now I think the reason Alabama and auburn is so good is because of the competition. One is not gonna let the other out do them and I think that's why they are good. So maybe tsun getting better only raises the bar for us. If they expand, we one up them. I looked at the history of the iron bowl and early auburn would whip bama. I guess bama got tired of that and did everything they could to win. I think that's what we need to do also and I believe it's working. Losing to tsun last year might of been good for us in the long run.

Yeah I say why not throw our name out there. Get a few of them on our campus for visits, and with all the new buildings and expansions we could pull a few.

Why wouldn't we do that. Recruits have friends. Even if they don't come to ...

MSU friend might.

Based on our recruiting class looks like its still pretty much local recruiting only from MS/AL/LA though we have branched a little into GA.

I'm of the impression that Mississippi kids are just as talented as every other kid I the nation, but our high school coaching fails them. That is why Dan has attempted to redshirt every incoming freshman up until this year because with a full year of weights and coaching they are just as developed as others from other states. Also, Mississippi kids don't get the national exposure that others do so it is no shock to me that our recruiting rankings are down compared to other teams while we seem to compete with other teams.
