Headed to Michigan. The search for a new heavyweight continues.Campbell heavyweight Taye Ghadiali enters NCAA Transfer portal
This would be a big pickup.
Looks like Iowa is heavy recruiting Mocco.. I’d have to imagine Coby Merrill follows his brother to okie stateI don't expect Mocco would come here. Has anyone looked at Coby Merrill?
Transfer portal opened today (dumb timing by the NCAA).
So does this mean the 1-2 potential PSU transfers we are getting are Davis and Nagao??The rich get richer (potentially)... senior world champ and u20 world champ at 61kg Masanosuke Ono (Japan) has recently enrolled at PSU. He most recently beat Spencer Lee as well as the #1 p4p recruit Marcus Blaze (also a PSU commit) so it will be interesting to see if he just taking some classes while training at the NLWC or if he plans to compete in the NCAA come the fall.

Not as a student, no.Crazy
Would he need to enroll to workout at NLWC.
Some time ago, I suggested recruiting foreign world-level wrestlers. He would have been a good one.The rich get richer (potentially)... senior world champ and u20 world champ at 61kg Masanosuke Ono (Japan) has recently enrolled at PSU. I don’t know much about the international studs that are up for grabs, but seems to me it’s would be a no-brainer. Look at any D1 men’s soccer or ice hockey rosters and they are loaded with international athletes. Some time ago, I suggested recruiting foreign world-level wrestlers. He would have been a good one.
To be fair, soccer, aka football, is the same game internationally. Wrestling is freestyle elsewhere. Freestyle guys may have a problem on bottom, so they'll fit in well at Rutgers. I would think some, if not many, foreign guys would be interested in a chance to go to school in the US.I don’t know much about the international studs that are up for grabs, but seems to me it’s would be a no-brainer. They also want to train in freestyle while they are here and we don’t exactly have a great/attractive option for them unfortunately. To be fair, soccer, aka football, is the same game internationally.
