Huh? I didn’t mention penn state bc it’s been known they had millions put into the program for a decade now, I use Iowa and ok state bc it’s only been the past few seasons they’ve had millions poured into the program. You also must have missed where I said no one expects them to reach that level but they should absolutely be on the level with V-tech and UNC , and it shouldn’t be on the shoulders of working class Alumni and fans to reach that level. No reason Rutgers shouldn’t be able to find some donors the way every other big time program has.
We’re not a big time program. Just a reality. Doesn’t mean we can’t be but that’s not what we are right now.

Just another example of stupidity by educated adults… one day it will all come crashing down…it will lead to more significant abuses by the HAVES … don’t think the HAVE NOTS benefit…

I don't see Joe Bachmann on the possible recruits Google sheet. Are we going hard after him and do we have a chance, as I see we called/texted in the below video and he lives and breathes wrestling?

Also, where do we stand with Paul Kenny? Are we getting him or is he going to Princeton with Ashnault or someplace else? He's trained a ton with Pollard and Ashnault, but Jayden James and Alessio Perentin also trained a lot with Pollard and went elsewhere.

I’ve speculated about Iowa and lately I’ve heard rumblings about it. We’re better off without him. He’s going to be a problem. Heard he’s already on juvenile probation.

Sheesh, really? Would be curious to see how long he can hang in Iowa then.

Vinnie Santaniello transferred to TCNJ after 3 years at Pitt and 1 yr Naval Prep. Not sure how it works going down to D3, since they only allow medical red shirts and not elective red shirts, but if it was D1, it looks like he would have at least 2 years of eligibility left, and maybe 3, as he was injured a lot.

Great question, as it's been very quiet and hard to get info, but I'd like to know as well. Anyone have anything? Looking at the target/depth chart thread, someone identified a bunch of recruits, but no idea where we stand. I also think 1 of those 2027s (Duffy) is a 2026.
The lack of responses here is not a good sign given some of the connections folks have. About the only 2027 name I heard in the mix is DeGeorge.

Gotta land both. PK and his family have been very close with the staff for years, but also close with AA. Will be interesting to see how this plays out. JB has been around SKWC more recently over the past 2 yrs or so. Anyone know our chances?

Two other very good kids on the trip. #1 ranked heavy in the class of 27 Lukas Zalota and Justin Farnsworth the #3 ranked kid in the class of 27 @113’s. Both of those kids would be huge gets for the knights.

Landing even one would be amazing, both would be unprecedented..

Interestingly enough, PK, also has a younger brother in the class of ‘28, Sean Kenny ranked No. 10 at 113 per flo.

Kinda cool coincidence both are in the same ‘27 class and have highly ranked brothers in the same ‘28 class..

Not sure how serious he is on Rutgers but Paul Kenny doesn’t strike me as a typical Ivy kid

Will Farnsworth be a career 125?
Lots of top talent on campus, just need to close them.
Always smart to have your top recruits on a visit for the blackout game. Atmosphere all over was awesome. Other sports had recruits as well.

You could say that about some kids on several Ivy rosters.

I would think a 125/133 for his entire college career. Those guys are hard to find and he’s really good too.

All these dudes are gonna want big money that I doubt we have. Plus, make that 2X b/c of Sean Kenny and Fred B. = I’m sure they are looking at package bros deals and everyone wants to get paid.

Def can’t get them all, but isn’t it about maximizing the resources we do have?

Wasn’t this the case with Dave McFadden?? Close with the staff, trained at SKWC, and would have gladly came here.. except we didn’t want to match VT’s offer.. and instead spent those resources on other guys that didn’t pan out.

Very different situation. PK and family have been much closer to the staff, and for far longer, than McFadden ever was.
