Recruits decidedly don't want one candidate

Without giving way TOS premium info, let's just say there's one former Sun Belt coach who none of our current commits or targets likes.

On the other hand, for obvious reasons they seem to like another candidate who is closer to Flood rhetorically.

You've posted this on other threads. I don't buy it nor do I trust the credibility of the site you are referring to. MC has done quite well with recruits, including some from NJ, many of which have publicly stated he is the reason they went to Alabama.

I didn't say it was the sole reason. Relax. But kids have praised MC. He did a pretty good job recruiting at FIU too.

First I don't know if I buy that and second even if it's true then goodbye. No one... recruits, high school coaches, etc.. should be dictating to us. Hire whomever you think is best, that guy will get people to play for him and it's his job to coach them up whether they have no stars or lots of stars I don't care. Listening to interests like these gave us Mike Rice and FHJ and Flood, no thanks. Hire who you think is the best one to do the job and who can coach up whatever talent we get.

MC was recruiting for Alabama which is recruiting on a different level. We don't have any recruits that Alabama is interested in and he might not have behaved the same way if he was recruiting for Rutgers. The recruit was delusional if he thought he should be recruited by Alabama. I remember the HS coaches loving Flood, see how that helped him in recruiting.

Personally, I don't think MC is the greatest pick but he is the coach, I'm fine with the choice. Any body will recruit better than Flood.
