Red Raiders Game Thread..

[57stratdawg]

TT trying to make some noise. A couple walks have 2 men on, 1 out.

[57stratdawg]

Hard hit ball bounces off Jordan at 3rd. TT scores 1. Back runner only gets to 2nd base.

[NWADog]

Feel like we’ve left Tullar in the game a little too long. I’m not a coach but he hasn’t looked great and it’s been constant trouble

[57stratdawg]

Tullar behind another batter 2-0. He's playing with fire in this half inning. Foxhall out to talk.

Someone is getting warm in the bullpen, but i missed the name. Might be Self.

[57stratdawg]

Walk on 4 pitches. Bases loaded.

[GloryDawg]

Yes. It may have been the Mizzou game....it was one of the last ones.

That dude is living a dream.

[57stratdawg]

Koestler in. Tough spot. Bases juice, 1 down. 1 run game.

[57stratdawg]

First pitch goes back to the screen. Tied at 3. Runner's advance to 2nd and 3rd.

[57stratdawg]

Base hit back up the middle. 4-3 TT.

[Hump4Hoops]

Complete meltdown of an inning. Still only 1 out.

[57stratdawg]

Strike out. Needed that. 2 on, 2 down.

[57stratdawg]

Beamed batter. They're loaded again.

Our staff has allowed 9 free bases today. 6 walks, 3 HBP. Way too much especially in less than 5 IPs.

[57stratdawg]

Strike out ends the inning. But, TT backs around and scores 3. Leave them loaded.

4-3 TT after 5.

[rem101]

yeesh...that many free bases always going to hurt.

[57stratdawg]

6th Inning - 1 pitch, 1 out. Logan Tanner flies out to RF.

[57stratdawg]

Hatcher draws a walk. 1 on, 1 out.

[57stratdawg]

Hancock! 2 run shot to RF!

5-4 MSU.

[dawgstudent]

I love the threaded view for this because it breaks it down by inning.

[57stratdawg]

Not much else for MSU, but i'll take it.

5-4 Good Guys. Mid 6th.

[57stratdawg]

Koestler starts off with a walk. *eye roll*

[Hump4Hoops]

Starting the 6th off just like the 7th.

Walk. Then booted a potential double play. 1st and 3rd no outs.

[57stratdawg]

Hard hit ball to James - he boots it. Runners on the corner, 0 outs.

[57stratdawg]

Koestler gets a K. Big out to get. 1 down, 2 on.

[Leeshouldveflanked]

Very bad start to the season for James

[57stratdawg]

Ground ball gets the run home. MSU tries to turn 2, but TT beat it out.

5-5

[57stratdawg]

Another walk. Runners on 1st and 2nd. 2 outs.

[57stratdawg]

Another HBP. 12 free bases today from MSU pitching between walks and HBP.
That's awful.

Bases loaded. 2 outs. Big AB coming here.

[Hump4Hoops]

4th HBP after 8 walks. Yikes.

[57stratdawg]

Koestler gets out with a K! Whew...

Tied up on 5 though after 6.

[Xenomorph]

Jamie Hitt on to pitch for TT. Unfortunate name for a pitcher.

[57stratdawg]

7th Inning - Good start. Landon Jordan chops a ball over the 1B. Lead off double.

[Xenomorph]

At least with every AB he doesn't have to worry about tanking his average.

[57stratdawg]

Ah - Rowdy chops a ball to 3rd. Runner can't advance. 1 down.

[57stratdawg]

Pop out to shallow CF. 2 outs. Runner still standing at 2nd base.

[8dog]

I believe the 2-4 hitters are now 4-34

[57stratdawg]

Allen grounds out. Lead off double left at 2nd.

5-5. Time to stretch!

[Lettucexxxx]

Where to watch? ESPN premium X+?

[NWADog]

Surprised to see Keostler back out there again for the 7th

[57stratdawg]

Koestler gets a lead off K. Nasty pitch. 1 down.

[57stratdawg]

Another K. Fastball on the outside corner after holding the leg kick for an extra half second.

2 down.
