Anyone else use the word *** every other sentence as a teenager in the 90s? Shewee glad their wasn’t Facebook or twitter or whatever the hell back then.
How about The Paddock pre-2010ish?

Crazy how quick that went from the go to insult to forbidden. I understand why but it was basically overnight. How about The Paddock pre-2010ish?
I'm very confident he would with Tim Tebow.Plot twist.
Thom Brennaman is a ***.
He’s white. I guess considered privileged. Can’t make a mistake or an error. Apologies aren’t acceptable. Will have to lose his career over it to satisfy the holier than thou crowd. Those that never made or make a mistake. Social justice at its best.
????His love affair with the Cubs is actually what drives me bonkers.
????
I have been a Cubs fan for more than 40 years (I know) and I have never heard him compliment the Cubs. I know his dad was always talking bad about Cubs fans.
Are you saying he's only being punished because he's white? We all know that word is hurtful to gay people. This guy was on air broadcasting to who knows how many people, he knows the risk of having a mic to his mouth that anything he says could be live. If I said what he said at my job in a company meeting I'd be gone.
Can't make a mistake or an error? Dude. come on. It's like, really easy to not say racial or homophobic slurs. He didn't mistake a batter's name with someone else, he didn't make a wrong call, he used a harmful slur on air towards a group of people that couldn't even get married 6 years ago. And you want to make it about this made up crusade against white people, gtfo here.

This isn't a "mistake". Her didn't say the score was 3-0 when it was 4-0. This is an a-hole using a slur on the radio. It's like the #1 responsibly of a radio announcer. More important than saying the count or telling the batting average of Joey Votto. Don't be a hateful scumbag to 5% of the country.
Yep and a Jumper is a sweater not a suicide attempt.*** is a cigarette.
Oh totally agree, that's why it's probably best to just go off air and leave the apology to a cooler head and after you've spoken to your PR department. The comment was really bad, but pretty tough to hate on an apology, when a dude f*cks up that bad, and the entire nation is watching while he's realizing he just flushed 36 year career down the toilet. Assuming he didn't have time to meet with PR and rehearse a careful scripted heartfelt apology. He was likely shitting his pants.

I was just about to say "Archie Bunker said it in primetime more than once." One time he said if the country didn't start to change, he would move to England "*** country or no." And it was funny. I bet even gay people thought it was funny. I bet even English people thought it was funny. What happened to us?
I thought the worst part of the whole thing was the on air apology. He mostly apologized to his co-workers, bosses, and "people who sign his paychecks." Oof, how tone deaf can you be? He stepped in it, and then the apology showed he was more worried about his job than anything else. That's not an apology from the heart.
It's shark week mfers.

The thing about Blazing Saddles was that if you watch it, the white rednecks are the ones that look stupid.
It’s a shame that one mistake can ruin a guys life. The whole cancel culture is a ****ing joke. Boycotts, doxing, etc are a stain on our society. This is the exact reason I have zero social media accounts. Not worth the risk.
I don't really give a damn one way or another, although I thought his home run call in the middle of that forced apology was hilarious, but I wonder how many people saying this is b.s. and to just let him apologize and move on would feel if actually said something that offended them... like if he was caught on air saying "Jesus Christ can suck my ____" or "The Bible is a bunch of lies and I have literally wiped my *** with it." [laughing] I bet most of the same people wouldn't want him doing Reds games anymore.

Aww come on. You know what the Bible says about not forgiving don't you? It's against it.This isn't a "mistake". Her didn't say the score was 3-0 when it was 4-0. I still do damn it. If I call you a *** you’re probably one of my closest friends. No homo.Anyone else use the word *** every other sentence as a teenager in the 90s? Shewee glad their wasn’t Facebook or twitter or whatever the hell back then.
