He sat out a whole year dumbass, and barely played a little over half a season the year before. Try not to look stupid on your next post.
blah blah blah Go check his minor league numbers coming up through the system. He is what he is. Looking stupid on every post for you just comes natural, you blithering idiot. 34.2% strikeout rate in AA alone, and still the same player today. And that isn't cherry picking hot and cold stretches throughout a season as you do for your vendetta against the All-Star SS. You were on EDLC for the same **** McLain is doing with less than a year in the big leagues. Thanks for playing!

Go put a word in on X to your good buddy Sadak for Tito about benching EDLC. I'm sure he'd laugh in your dumb *** face.

KKKKruz w/ 3 more K's last night, including the 0-2 pipe shot in the 10th he froze on. He is now 4-22 for the month, and 3 of those are infield nubs. Way overdue for his one good game a week.

Stephenson w/ the jaw dropping 5 K's. Good grief.

^^^Elly strikes out 30% of the time as well.

Now 2 for his last 17.
2 HR and 2 2B in his last 21 games.
0 HR and 3 RBI in his last 14 games.
Where were you when he had a 14 game hit streak going? You like to show up when he has his down stretches. We get it, he's streaky. but apparently EDLC did something to a family member or something for you to have this much vitriol towards him still.

You know who else is striking out at or around a 30% clip, who doesn't get your goat every time the word strikeout is mentioned?
Blake Dunn - 25 Strikeouts in 58 AB's
Matt McClain - 38 SO's in 103 AB's
Jeimer Candelario - 29 SO's in 80 AB's

Don't see you pointing out them every time they SO. And don't give us the line about everyone on here thinking he's the next Mickey Mantle of some crap, nobody on here has put any kind of label on him like that this season. We are all aware he strikes out more than he should, but so do a whole $#1T ton of MLB players. Doesn't mean he should still be in the minors like you believe.

First of all....why would I waste my time on Dunn and Candy? They are pathetic and MLB reserves at best. McLain is coming off a full season where HE DIDN'T PLAY.....he gets the benefit of the doubt for a while longer.

Oh, the 14 game hitting streak where 16 of his 19 hits were singles....woo-hoo.

He's a novelty act and it's tiresome to listen to the homers keep singing his praises when he's proven that his glory moments are few and far between. He has a long way to go to even pretend to be elite player.

Look man, we all know you are a psychotic, narcissistic adulterer that enjoys beating people down, who also clearly knows nothing about baseball to boot. It is truly amazing that a grown man in his 60s would take to the internet to trash a player continuously on his "favorite team." Seriously, get some help loser.

By the way, Matt Mclain is pure trash as a player, always has been. In the minors, Matt McLain struck out 33% of the time. LOL

In the minors, in far more at bats, EDLC struck out 31% of the time.

You seriously can't make you up. You are such a dipshit. McLain K's more than Elly, yet you trash Elly everywhere on the internet and tout McLain. McLain is pure garbage. Not only are you a psychotic lunatic and narcissist, I am now sensing a bit of a racist. Congrats!!!

05/07/25Cincinnati Reds placed 3B Noelvi Marte on the 10-day injured list retroactive to May 5, 2025. Left oblique strain.
05/07/25Cincinnati Reds recalled RF Rece Hinds from Louisville Bats.

Ahhh, You know it's the month of May...Derby festivities come to a close, Flowers blooming, grass growing, trees turning green again and the Reds injury list keeps growing and growing like the weeds in my garden.

The Reds offensive slump seems to correlates to Hays and Marte not being in the lineup with the way they were hitting. Hopefully Greene isn't out long. May get to see Lowder sooner, rather than later if Greene has to miss a few starts.

It wouldn't be May if half the Reds roster wasn't on the IL.

Sounds like it is going to be only a couple of starts for Greene and avoided a serious injury. Two ways to look at it. One, not having him right now is an obvious blow to the team as the Reds best player. Also, this wasn't an arm injury so Greene will rest the arm now. The Reds were either going to have to skip a start or push him back at some point to keep his arm fresh. Cincinnati is fortunate this wasn't any worse of an outcome for Greene. As far as Hays and Marte, need them to get healthy and stay in the lineup. The Reds offense is at its worst when Hays is not in the lineup. Trevino needs to stay in the lineup getting the bulk of starts at catcher. He has been huge for the Reds all season and ride his bat for as long as it lasts. Let Stephenson work his way back at DH.

The season isn't even a month and a half in. Even with a couple of starts off for his arm now, still 4 1/2 months left to go. Lowder will be back in the rotation before too long. Spiers, Miley and hope at some point Burns will give the rotation more depth and be able to pace the rest of the staff as the year goes on.

Cincinnati bullpen limited the damage after Brady Singer left, 13-9. Bullpen picked up 6 2/3 innings allowing 2 runs after Houston scored 7 on Singer. Pagan and Barlow gave up the 2 bullpen runs. Richardson & Ashcraft each pitched 1 2/3 scoreless innings. Since Luis Mey debuted, the Reds have had a reliable trio of Mey, Santillan and Pagan at the back end of the bullpen. Connor Joe with a couple of hits in his Reds debut.

Manfred must feel like a big man now to make this move after his death. He should be in the Hall of Fame. I don't give a **** what anyone has to say about it. Much less the sportswriters and their egos.

It will be at the discretion of Classic Baseball Era Committee to determine whether he gets into the HOF now.

Friedl left the game after a HBP. Hopefully nothing serious and linger on long term to keep him out.

Reds offense needs to wake up and put some runs on the board. CWS should be one of those series like Colorado to pick up some wins against a team playing .293 baseball. Especially here in GABP.

The Reds have playoff caliber pitching. The problem is they have last place caliber hitting. And fundamentally it is ugly on the base paths and in the field.

That is what we need from EDLC. You star player coming through with a home run to tie the game and stop the bleeding. His 2nd hit in what has been an otherwise poor performance from the offense.

This team needs leadership on the field from the players in the form of another Scott Rolen and Paul O'Neill to come into this organization. They knew how to win and woudn't put up with this kind of garbage. Something is seriously wrong from the top on down with the losing culture in this organization for years. No matter how many players they cycle in and out through fire sales, the same damn results each time. The only strength this team has is pitching. Mostly just the starters, but a few good relievers like Santillan, Mey, Suter. The offense is a complete joke. Connor Joe and Austin Hays additions are not good enough to carry this team offensively. Instead of shopping from the dollar store bargain bin, trade off some of the damn prospects and get some real hitters in here.

Inexcusable to lose two in a row to the White Sox and drop the series. Especially in GABP. A team that Cincinnati should sweep, but very well may end up being the ones who get swept themselves.
