He could be a Herro like scorer, but he has to play some kind of defense. Kid can shoot it and plays offense well.

I’ll admit it, i’m a petty m’fer. I wish he had found a way to support Cal on a different night in a different way. Without supporting another sec team preferably. Oh well.
The spurs and the thunder already seem to have separated themselves. As both are at the top of the standings while down an All Star. No Fox for SA and no Jalen Williams yet for OKC.
I haven’t seen a timetable for Williams return yet however. It’s sounding like he could be out a while longer. The cost of a championship, as he almost certainly made it worse playing through it.
That's awesome to see. I never imagined he'd have done as well as he has.

Glad to see a ky kid proving some naysayers in the league wrong. I know he had the misstep with the red shirt, but i think people are discounting some important factors that probably led up to that level of support for his coach.
It’s kinda crazy that everyone overreacted to him not playing well at first - this board is usually pretty patient and rational

Lots of people have their mad on because he didn't come back to UK for year 2, lol. Your post only validates why every person needs to do what's best for them, not anyone else.
Why would he come back to UK? He’s an Arkansas guy. Him and daddy cal woulda made atleast the second round last year.
I don’t want him to fail. But let’s post every former UKs player stat line every night from every game. It’s kind of odd with the Reed obsession. Let’s post players that represent UK to the fullest. Nobody is mad he went pro. Quite a few were upset with him wearing Arkansas gear on game day.
regardless do we have to post every game Reed plays in. We’ve never done that to a player. Especially one that lost to Oakland in the first round.. he’s doing good in the nba. Congrats. How were the other UK players doing?
Probably because he's a homegrown kid who just so happens to be the son of a 1998 national champion. And he was incredibly fun to watch at UK. And he was a lifelong Kentucky fan...like all of us.
Mehhhh…. We have current national champions in the league who did way more for Kentucky that we don’t speak on.
Also everything you just said is the reason fans were upset with him. You would assume he was all of that. His dad was most definitely a national champion. Reed on the other hand was a player that got bounced by Oakland then proceeds to wear Arky on game day. It is what it is.
I honestly don't mean this in a mean way but if the title says Reed, why bother looking at it if you don't want anything to do with it
Because it doesn’t offend me to talk about Reed. It just seems his every little move is posted. I’m not sure that’s the case if he doesn’t have the Arky gear thing. We have had all stars every year for 15 years almost and never posted their stats game by game. I was just curious is all but I honestly believe it’s because so many fans are kind of over Reed.
Edit.. nba all stars Olympic gold medalists nba champions number one picks … Reed is a Kentucky boy so I guess it’s more exciting to UK folks. I guess I get it.

Every night i look at all the box scores for just about all our former players but Reed.
SGA is cooking again. But he’s probably running 3rd or 4th for mvp at the moment because the Lakers are actually solid at 10-4 with no Lebron and Luka is averaging 37 a game, Joker is still the best player in the world and Denver has only lost 2 games and Wemby is a unicorn and the media is obsessed with him currently though I think SGA is still the more impactful player because Wemby still makes a ton of mistakes on both ends.
That said if the Thunder keep winning at their current rate they may have no choice but to give it to SGA. 12-1 i believe? and none of their games in the last 2 weeks have been close. And that includes crushing the Warriors and Lakers to the point Shai sat the 4th in both games.
he’s still averaging 30 a game but it’s in less minutes than the other guys because he keeps sitting the 4th quarter. and this is all wothout Jalen Williams, their other all star, who hasn’t played a game yet and won’t for a while most likely.
The Thunder look like a machine right now. Very fun to watch. It’s that brand of basketball. Always pushing. Selfless. Forcing lots of chaos and turnovers on defense. A bunch of guys that can all really play on both ends making good decisions.
Cason Wallace is also currently #1 among all guards in NBA defensive rating. SGA is #3.
Yeah. Or they just didn't care after his wardrobe malfunction. That's probably it. But no, instead we keep seeing this f'n thread after every game he plays. Maybe Terrence Jones can get his own thread detailing his play in the Siberian league.
