The problem for Reed if he comes back is he will be surrounded by much less talent which means he won’t be as open to shoot like last year. He won’t be able to replicate what he did last year and will be a year further out from his 2nd contract where the real money is.

You havent seen Pope's offense if this is your takeaway.

You aren't wrong. But if the Off is better, it could even out. Could possibly even get more shots up.

You’re completely incorrect, Mark runs a modern offense that excelled with a bunch of 2 star Mormons. He beat NC State, Kansas and Baylor last year.

Guys like Perry and Reed will be rockstars in his offense if it happens.

We’ve already got 2 transfers from the sound of it, some of Cal’s players haven’t left yet, and maybe guys like Hart could be talked into coming back.

No offense but you are clueless!!!! Popes offense is designed to have 5 shooters on the floor at all times. Not anywhere from 1-3 like we are used too. Do not confuse talent with fundamentally sound basketball players who can shoot. If Reed were to come back he would be 1 of 5 capable shooters on the floor. Think of a lineup of Reed/dilly//reeves/Z/Edwards on the floor.

And how is he not a year further to his second contract? Which means he will have a year less in the back end of his career where money is made. Don’t get me wrong I’d be elated if he came back for him and Pope. I think Pope is a horrible hire but what’s done is done. But what you want and what is best for Reed are unfortunately 2 entirely different things.

The problem with dilly, he never met a shot he didn't like.

No. With Pope's offense he'll get more shots. His only worry would be it driving down his overall 3pt percentage.
