Your the idiot who said Reed would not be open because of talent, I am saying having a real coach and an real offense with players who came to play means more than all of Cal's stupid 5 star one and done's. I will take Reed and some transfers who are mature players, and watch real basketball now that the car salesman is gone.

Dudes an idiot. Many people here have said they would like it if he stayed but it's his decision, EXCEPT HIM of course. Doesn't realize he's made himself the idiot.

I’m pretty up to speed on how offense works which is why I wanted Cowl gone 4 years ago. Again half the problem is financially it’s a stupid decision to Return.
I wasn't even talking about Reed. You said only one good shooter. I commented on running better offense can make others look like better shooters. We don't have to have 3 guys shooting 50% from 3 to be successful. As long as you got guys that shoot good enough to force the defenses to come out and guard you, we can be very good.

Now if Reed comes back, we would take a huge step forward from where we currently stand. If Reed and his family are good with the decision then it isn't a stupid decision. He will still get his. It doesn't mean that money is what drives him. Maybe having a lasting legacy that he helped lead Kentucky back from the dumpster fire it currently is maybe more important to him. Try and get a championship like his old man.

You can stalk my post and see I would be cool with it reguardless if it’s a bad move or not. Of course it’s his choice but I’m not explaining what should be elementary common sense to a little b$tch like you. I’m sure you’ll cry and report me after calling me names to huh snowflake since that’s how you normally are.

You seem to struggle with intelligence and comprehension. I said he wouldn’t be as open and wouldn’t replicate the same numbers.

A couple thoughts: the way Reed ended his season in the SEC-T and NCAA-T, he showed that he could use an additional season. I'm sure he still has a bad taste in his mouth ending that way. He never did start games, and that is something that could also be useful- spending a year as a starter, not as a bench player. And Mark Pope's offense fits Reed perfectly. He can do it all. A sophomore Reed Sheppard could be dominant. And if he did decide to come back, imagine the effect it would have on other guys considering UK next season. I just heard a Jeff Sheppard interview where he's saying he's excited about Pope taking over and he wants to do everything he can to help him. We'll, guess what would help the most right now? Reed coming back! 😀

My grasp of the English language is much better than yours as that is not how your post is written. And I say in an offense like Pope's he will get better shots. Have you watch any film on Pope's teams. Plus with the NIL money coming in I don't think the overall talent level will not be a drop off but the coaching level is going to rise immensely .

I’m gonna set aside personal attacks, but I will revisit this post in just a short time when he gets his players.

Dontae Allen is back in the portal. Has a player ever transferred out and then transferred back to their original school?

UK fans never got to see a confident Dontae play. Unfortunately he’s been hurt a lot so I don’t think he’s the player he could have been.
Does he have the Perry Ellis exemption? Damn, how many years is he going to get?

The problem for Reed if he comes back is he will be surrounded by much less talent which means he won’t be as open to shoot like last year. He won’t be able to replicate what he did last year and will be a year further out from his 2nd contract where the real money is.
I would LOVE have him back. He may want to focus on the first contract.

People been overreacting to my post about him. Must be sensitive week or something. I would absolutely love Reed to come back. He was my favorite player to watch in a decade atleast. It is however an extremely dumb move on his part though if he is slated to go high lottery.

Until Reed officially declares, I will hold out some hope for a return to Kentucky. Even then, he could still get an evaluation from the league and return after getting feedback.

Agree. I also think the notion of “being a UK hero was always his dream” is a little overstated (even though it certainly was). I would imagine being able to play basketball for as long as possible and be able to provide for his future family is the ultimate goal. If I were advising him, I would tell him to go and not look back while he’s still an almost definite lottery pick.

Would LOVE for him to surprise us all
