... threats of hell and damnation ...

"For one day, he will give an account for his action"

"If you are wrong about Christianity, then you will experience eternal suffering."

Yeah ... "love" is eternal ...

"I have heard a lot of people saying that if this passes 'Maybe we should smoke crack or drive one hundred miles per hour on Sundays too'," Dixon said. "The difference between that and this [the Sunday sales ordinance], is you're not able to smoke crack the other six days of the week."</p>

My favorite religious/alcohol joke has always been:

Q: What's the difference between a Baptist and an Episcopalian?

A: The Episcopalians will say 'hello' to each other in the liquor store.

Go Dogs!

(and I'm Baptist). Why do you always take at least two Baptists fishing with you? Cause if you only take one, they'll drink all your beer.

Lol that was my teacher (Grady Dixon) in my meteorology classes last semester. Yes I'm a senior in meteorology at MSU (wanna work at the National Weather Service someday)..And yes that is a tornado in my avatar that we saw on our storm chase this past year. He's a really cool and sarcastic teacher..Thats hilarious though haha. He taught me Weather Analysis I and II and Synoptic Meteorology..Fun and great teacher I do miss having him.. http://www.msstate.edu/dept/geosciences/people/dixon/index.htm
