Did anyone catch the play where the back judge lent a hand to Peyton Manning and helped pull him off the turf after getting sacked? I know it's pretty insignificant as far as the game is concerned... but I've NEVER seen a referee offer his hand to help up any player... Am I out of line thinking that's showing some favoritism?

For those that missed it, Peyton dropped back in the pocket, the pocket collapsed and Peyton was sandwiched between two defensive players. His forward progress was stopped, so the refs blew the whistle. About 2 seconds later he finally went to the ground the referee helped him up.

I have a vague memory of something like that happening. Dont remember the game, the play, or how long ago it was but seems like there was a game where he maybe scrambled, evaded a sack, maybe even was molested* and he completed a long pass. After the play the ref walked behind him and Farve stuck his hand behind his back palm up. As the ref passed by him he casually gave Farve a five behind his back. Is that the instance you were referring to?
