Does it seem to anyone else that as soon as we get to the real games that the refs start calling ticky-tacky things and our guys shut down? Is that because of the "get two fouls and you sit" philosophy? It seems to happen every year. And it seems the refs are determined to make it happen. Thoughts, please..

Higgins has single handily determined the winner of 3 big NCAA games that UK played: UConn, Wisconsin and North Carolina. I think the Cats have at least two more banners if not for him. The guys got a definitive dislike and bias against Kentucky.
Refs do make a difference, especially in close games between evenly matched teams.

They need to go to 6 fouls like the NBA. Let your best players decide the game.

Absolutely. Especially since the recent rule change (last 1-2 years?) where every single touch is a foul. Something about cleaning up the game [eyeroll].

2 BS fouls on a star player in the first half is just bad for the game, and puts a TON of power in the refs hands.
