Regarding logos, et al

First of all, hope everyone on the Pack had a Merry Christmas, even Coach34.

I have a general question for the board - I assume a lot of folks on here are a lot like me, just wondering if anyone else had this pet peeve.

I hate getting MSU gifts with the old, wrong logos on it. I went as far as telling my wife to hold off on MSU gifts this year because of the logo change and to inform those who usually buy me something MSU.

That being said, I received the most hidious MSU gift ever today.

1. Red instead of Marron
2. Primary logo - Old walking bulldog logo, without the body
3. MS-J logo in a secondary position
4. MS baseball logo in a tertiary position

Yes, three different logos. I guess I had the look on my face when I saw it. Does anyone else feel this way?

had a white chest and maroon sleeves. Of course the logo (the now old M-State) color didn't match the sleeves. It doesn't matter now, I washed it once and now it's a nice shade of pink.

Sounds to me like you are the victim of a re-gifter. As such, you should carry on the tradition and stick some other poor sap with this hideous piece of crap.

From the same person, my brother in law (28 years old) received a sweatshirt. Maroon sweatshirt with white sleeves and white hood. The hood had a stripe down the middle and M-states on the side to make it look like a helmet. He later told me he would wear a Wal Mart jersey to the Six Pack tailgate before he wore that in public.

Its a big Bulldog head on the front of the shirt with Miss. State Bulldogs under it. To the left of Miss. State Bulldogs is the MS-J logo. On the right sleeve is a tag with the baseball MS on it.

If someone spent the money to get a gift you act appreciative of it and not like it offended you that they spent their hard earned money, but didn't clear the present with the freakin "Logo Nazi."

Told her to make sure her family knew also to stay away from the M-State, b/c we really didn't know what it was going to change to. I got a maroon nike sweatshirt with "STATE" in white w/ black outline. I was proud of her. She did good.

I didn't see anything saying they were present when he opened it.

I have an aunt and uncle who never fail to get me the most hideous ****, and always in sizes that don't fit. This year they gave me an orange tie. I don't ever even wear a tie, and they know that. I'm starting to think they do it on purpose. Last year they gave me an awful flannel shirt, that is a Medium. I last wore a medium in seventh grade.
