We averaged 26 points a game last season in Mullen's 1st season. With an OL that was learning a new offense. With Tyson Lee at QB. With an inexperienced QB in Relf coming in for a few plays when everybody on defense knew what he was coming in the game to do. With WR's that didnt have a clue about what they were doing
Now, we have a QB with experience in Relf. David Pollack from SEC Weekly called him "a stud runner". Relf is one of the top returning running QB's in the nation. And he has 2 Springs and a season under his belt. We have a decent back-up in Russell who just needs some experience.
Now we have WR's that know what to do and have learned the offense. Not only that, the guy considered to be our best WR is struggling to even keep his job because of another talented player behind him. That's how much better our WR's are. And Green is a very good SEC TE
Our OL returns almost intact. They completely understand the offense now. Pass protection should be vastly improved. This group is a strength.
We have a juco AA at RB that cant seem to beat out Elliot. People are worried about our RB's- yet somehow Auburn's juco AA QB is expected to be very good. We will be good at RB- we always are. And I seem to remember our last juco AA TB working out pretty damn well.
We averaged 26 points a game last year. We will be at 30 or more this season. Count on it.
