How much stock should we put in Alabama's performance against A&M? Obviously, neither Alabama is that good nor A&M is that bad but what did you guys see during that game? I honestly had a hard time watching it. I think what's obvious is that Alabama's young players play much better at home and A&M's players play badly when they get behind big and kind of mail it in.

Alabama is getting better and Sims is starting to become a playmaker, but aTm has quit. Alabama just poured it on late when they usually get conservative and not run it up.

Alabama committed to the run and A&M's D is horribly weak at stopping the run. It was a complete mauling b/c 1) Bama just manned up and said stop me and 2) Ole Miss and State beat down A&M so bad that the first thing that goes bad for A&M - they are done.

With that being said, they have to go to Tennessee and LSU in the next 2 weeks. Tennessee is not a bad team and LSU is hopefully turning it around. Let's hope they struggle the next couple of weeks.

Alabama scored 14 pts in the 2nd half. They didn't pour it on late in the game.

I'm not sold on Blake Sims just yet. If you can take away Bama's running game and make him beat you, I'm not sure he's good enough to do that.

I like the way our defense matches up with Bama. If we can move the ball on them, which I think we can do, we can win.

I wasn't convinced that any of the aTm defenders we're actually trying to make a tackle at any point in that game.

At our Monday morning meeting at work, my boss made the comment that aTM's defense looked one of those high school games where they put in the kid with Down's Syndrome and the opposing team intentionally misses all the tackles so the kid can score.
