So did UK just find out about this during camp? If they knew, why let him stay through summer and camp? Wouldn't it have been better to address it 5 months ago? Either way it looks bad

With the amount of off-the-field issues we've been having lately we're starting to look like a legit SEC team now.
Water under the dam now but it would interesting to know what happened to the charges. Did he or will he go to trial? were they dismissed? or (most likely) did he enter a plea of guilty in exchange for community service or something.
Florida has some of the most liberal gun laws in the country. Almost anyone can conceal carry. Open carry is illegal in public with some exceptions, but this seems like a fairly minor change to me especially when you consider the number of folks that carry guns.

It's JSU. Look at their roster. It's littered with problem kids. Look at UK's football history. These kids don't get 2nd chances here. Even when I played Mumme wasn't that strict but administration was hard on football players.
Yes but the difference at other SEC schools and Win-At-All-Costs UL is those guys would not have been kicked out of school. At UL they become team captains.
Except other SEC schools keep these type of players and start them the opening game. This **** is beyond old. We spose to be SEC. Fall in line or get left behind.
