I have Meant on my snapchat....he posted a picture of him in white cleats and wearing a red number 9 football jersey just now. Is he playing elsewhere?

The whole personal matter stuff sounds like BS now. How could you be playing at another school two weeks later? I'm tired of this.

It definitely doesn't pass the smell test at this point.
Why didn't someone track the plane Meant left on? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I do wonder why it was so hard for UK to not say anything about this situation versus "we're not going to discuss it".

Zero defect handgun policy came into play I guess. Now I know why that question came up in the presser the other day.

So did UK just find out about this during camp? If they knew, why let him stay through summer and camp? Wouldn't it have been better to address it 5 months ago? Either way it looks bad

Just a guess but either they just found out or he did something else stupid while on double secret probation.

I was told the kid left for personal reasons, and suffered from bad depression/suicidal. If someone really made that up, they're awful.

This staff wasn't very truthful about Hatcher either.

Remember coach said he wasn't being suspended then like the next day he was.

Guess they were hoping no one would realize Meant was on another team.

Water under the dam now but it would interesting to know what happened to the charges. Did he or will he go to trial? were they dismissed? or (most likely) did he enter a plea of guilty in exchange for community service or something.

Florida has some of the most liberal gun laws in the country. Almost anyone can conceal carry. Open carry is illegal in public with some exceptions, but this seems like a fairly minor change to me especially when you consider the number of folks that carry guns.
