Can anyone challenge Altavista in Region 1B? How do week feel about Gap, Brunswick, Sussex or Franklin?

Gap will be battle tested, at least and I'd say they'd have a fighting chance. The others mentioned wouldn't keep it close.... Does anyone know how many teams qualify for the Region B playoffs, since they only have 7 football eligible teams?
I believe their region decided to take all 7 teams, with the 1st seed receiving a first round bye.
I saw the format as dispatched by the VHSL. I think it contains a typo, but I know what they were saying.
“Top 8 using football ratings, #1 gets a bye, 2vs 7, 3vs 6, and 4 vs 5.”
Virtually everyone is taking 8, so I think they mis-typed an 8 instead of 7.

I have a friend who lives in the Shenandoah Valley. He tells me that BG is the most underrated team in that area. Scored a lot of points on D2’s and D’3 s. Including Stuarts Draft, Riverheads. Staunton, and Clarke County. All those will be in the playoffs and two are tops in Region 2B and Stuarts Draft is expected to make noise if not win region. He says their D might be suspect. Play the games and see how things shake out.
