Region 3A VHSL Standings Week 8

VHSL released their week eight ratings this morning...

#5 Booker T. Washington 22.7
#6 Petersburg 22.1
#7 Park View-South Hil 22.0
#8 Tabb 20.2

Odd man out is New Kent 18.4

So playoffs as of right now... if the playoffs began this weekend...
#8 Tabb at #1 Phoebus
#7 Park View-South Hill at #2 Hopewell
#6 Petersburg at #3 York
#5 Booker T. Washington at #4 IC Norcom

So who do you like in Region 3A? Who represents Region 3A in state semifinals... does Hopewell repeat or does Phoebus get their revenge? Do one of the other 6 surprise us all? What say you?

This is going to be a tough region to come out of. I think Hopewell has been the most consistent team from the start. Phoebus has improved but have yet to reach their full potential offensively. York has been very good. Norcom is finally healthy and rounding into the team I thought they'd be before the season. Booker T is dangerous and must not be taken for granted. Any of these teams could win this Region. My gut feeling is a Phoebus/Hopewell rematch, however it will be much tougher to get there than it was last year.
