OK guys this is the 1st time I tried this so don't yell at me too bad!

Since there was some confusion (or different numbers) and I had a bit of free time, here is what should be correct.

1. Halifax: 24.67
Person 22/4, Nottoway 22/2, Mecklenburg 22/2
2. Louisa: 23.00
Huguenot 22/0, Courtland 22/0, Massaponox 24/2, Fluv 22/0
2. Orange: 23.00
Courtland 22/0, Culpeper 22/2, Charlottesville 22/0, H'Burg 24/0

Martinsburg 10/3, Franklin 26/4, Fleming 24/0, Northside 22/0

Thanks Gunz41, you're right! Like I said, first time I've tried to get points. I found my mistakes: Western Albemarle, I had credited 20 for a loss to Turner Ashby instead of 8 like an idiot....lol and on Halifax Co., I had Person,NC at 3-1 when sould had been 2-2.

Anyways, my hats off to you guys that figure these up. It takes a lot of time and effort to go back and forth trying to find scores and records from opponents........Great job guys!!

I have trouble finding the out of state schools results. Any tips?
My formula was doubling up some of the bonus points, specifically for "playing up". Thanks for the corrections.

I use Twitter, Score Stream, Facebook, and Max Preps for Class 2 where I do them.

But like I said, just saw where there was some confusion so figured I would help out. At least now you have a baseline to work from

Question for the group. What is the rule about added points for playing down a division?

Essentially you get points added on to bring you up to your Class. Example Class 4 plays Class 2 and wins. Class 4 gets 18 points for victory over Class 2 and an additional 4 points for to bring it up to 22 (which is a Class 4 victory).

Gotcha so was this done to encourage teams to play down and not hurt the ones who are forced to play down based on location and district?

No attack on your character but I know you are more knowledgeable than the above comment. That's why I said pay you no mind because it has to be a joke. If you follow JV football like you say, you obviously know they don't do power points
