The Cavaliers gave a much better effort than what their previous games had indicated but it wasn’t enough to hang with the Trojans in the end. King William trailed 16-0 at the half and penalties plagued Essex most of the night. Essex will make the trip to Surry County next week.

After a scoreless first quarter last week, Southampton came back a totally new and inspired squad dominating all night. The Indians led 27-0 at the half and never looked back. The power-I offense and the convoy of backs wore down the smaller roster Panthers.
