@THEGOATFROMJMU, I tend to agree and while there is time to get it right there are lots of little things that add up to a potentially quick exit. The game Saturday should be a big growing point but I thought the same thing after the close call with Central to start the season. Time will tell and the story isn't written for any team just yet.

I can understand anyone who would doubt the Big Red at this point. However I do find it interesting that Strasburg is unbeaten and ranked high, but as I recall, Riverheads handled them easily in their scrimmage.

Bottom line is that the Shenandoah is still a six-team race at this point but as soon as anyone loses two district games, they will be out of that picture and will have to hope for the best in the playoffs.

Updated as I had one game missing for some reason (even though it is not on the VHSL scores either, that being a Rock Ridge/Park View Sterling game).

I will also update after games tonight

They did. I believe some of Strasburgs studs persay were not allowed to play because of discipline. The Rams made some changes after that scrimmage and it has helped. Also Coach lamb has a strict discipline policy. Any major trouble in school or a unsportsmanlike penalty in a game you miss the next game. Can never count Riverheads out. They are a champion and will be a tough out come playoff time.
