they did take 2 from Arizona State last week. That's pretty impressive, and there won't be many teams with non conf wins like that. They still have 3 against TN left also. The same could also be said about ole miss and they play Ark so someone has to lose.

we all know that literally anybody can beat anybody in baseball if they catch fire. Thats the only excuse that Maine was in the Regional Final against OM back in 2005.

The stats don't seem to back up Arkansas' run through the SEC over the long haul. I'll come back and say I was wrong if they do do it.

Last in batting avg, last in hits, last in runs, last in RBI, next to last in total bases, last in plate appearances, 3rd most in Ks against.

Their ERA is 4th, last 10th in Ks for, otherwise their pitching looks decent in overall games, but their trend has gotten worse in conference games. They're also one of the bottom 3 worst fielding teams in the league.

I don't see it holding up when they have to face the better hitting teams in the league. They still have to face 4 of the 5 best hitting teams in the SEC.

they beat ASU twice. And they beat Florida, the 2nd best hitting team in the conference in conf play 3 times.

Actually, in conf play, they ole miss, lsu, and tn left---all are in the bottom half of the conf in batt avg in conf play. And Ark's stats are generally better in conf play than their overall.

They very well might fold, but for most of the year, they are winnign somehow someway.

And Maine didn't play ole miss in the 2005 final. I think you are thinking of Sam Houston State in 07.
