Regional Ticket Question

Question
In the past, how difficult is it to get chair backs for our opening game when we host? And how are they purchased? I need any tips on how to get some. My wife has never been to the dude and has been dying to go, and this is the first time since she was diagnosed with cancer that she’s felt good enough to go seat on her *** in the sun all day.

Those will be sold to current ticket holders first (the email went out yesterday) and some to other participating teams so good luck. It's going to be harder to get them than regular season because people might actually use them for a Regional game

Regional and Super tickets are tough. You have to go with the secondary market and they will be expensive.

The university has an official ticket reseller but I can’t remember who it is. Check on the Hailstate web site, it should be listed.

Reminds me of days past when people would be in line for hours to get tickets on game day. I was one of them quite a few times. Didn't mind a bit though, just added to the game day atmosphere and excitement.

But as far as your question, I don't know but it seems that the GA tickets would be for sale on game day now that 100% capacity is a go.

Postseason chairbacks are the hardest tickets to get unless you have season tickets. Postseason are the only time majority of ticket holders show up.

Emails went out to current ticket holders yesterday, I really believe that the only option will be secondary market as NCAA dictates seating requirements that may actually keep season ticket holders from receiving tickets.

I have only been to one regional, and it was in Tallahassee. Those tickets were all GA. Is that not the case here?

No, season tickets holders get the right to their season tickets for the postseason that they pay for.

If you have the email that they sent, I would appreciate it if you would post it. The Bulldog Club certainly doesn't mind taking my money, but for some reason I no longer receive emails about tickets from them or the ticket office. If I hadn't read it in here, I would not have known that they had decided to sell baseball tickets after MS opened up more after the Covid shutdowns, and would not have known to purchase them. And yes, I have called and was told that I would be placed back on the email list, but so far I haven't been.

I don't have it, a friend w/ charibacks told me he got his but they won't just put you on a chair back ticket email unless you have the chair backs so don't look for any emails that way. I just buy GA season tickets and am fortunate enough to have friends w/ LFL boxes and hang out with them. I did get an email on Friday about that, text below:

The 2021 Baseball season is coming to a close and with the successful regular season almost complete the Mississippi State Athletic Department is anticipating hosting an NCAA Regional. While regional sites will not be announced until May 30, we are one of 20 sites preparing to be a host.

As an outfield baseball season ticket holder, you [FONT=&quot]do not[/FONT] have to purchase during our current pre-sale.

The Mississippi State ticket office will start selling standing room only/general admission all tournament tickets the week of the tournament, and with no capacity limits, you or anyone using your outfield spot can purchase these for $60. All tickets will be mobile or print at home for the postseason.

Be sure and keep your regular season parking passes to use for all postseason games.

Additional info regarding an NCAA Super Regional will be released online at hailstate.com should MSU be selected as one of the eight host sites.

I think this may be the most expensive we've ever seen baseball tickets. The tickets for the Arkansas weekend were astronomical, but I bet this will be worse. My guess is you are looking at $200+ per seat for the later weekend games
