Another chance to get Richards and Monty valuable PT heading into the post season and UK wont play again for basically a week which will give Travis time to work his way back via practices and get ready for SECT and NCAAT.

No reason whatsoever to play him today. Will give another full week to rehab and get ready for Friday night. We are either 2 or 3 seed in SEC regardless of today’s outcome. Cats have plenty to handle UF without him.

Don’t disagree with anyone saying another week won’t hurt him, but I don’t think UF will be as easy of some you. Would LOVE a stress free blowout though as some are predicting!

It seems as though he is physically ‘ok’ to go and maybe mentally not there yet.

Cal said again this week that if RT came to him and said he’s ready to go then ok but he didn’t know yet. Would a coach say that if he weren’t physically cleared and ok to play?

If he can't log a few minutes just to get a feel against UF, I highly doubt he's going to do much in higher pressure back to back games of the SEC tournament. There is no positive in holding him out again today.

Please explain what is so “unreal” about this? You do know injuries are a part of sports, correct? He’s been out 2 1/2 weeks, not months. Will be no problem at all syncing back up

Probably Coach K trying to push him back. We know what that staff tried to do right after he got injured..

Travis is also 4 years older, the rehab might take a bit longer. I honestly didn't want him to play today anyways. Get more reps for Richards and EJ to prep them for the tournament. Give RT all the rest time he needs.
