Ram senior Kicker Zach Baber made his first PAT tonight to extend his consecutive streak to 45 ... then missed three straight before getting back on track and began another streak with 3 to end the game. A year ago, he had a streak of 57 straight, 6th best in state history.

So is Reidsville a #1 seed with home field thur playoffs?
The projection I saw was Reidsville No. 2 in 2A West with Randleman (also undefeated) at No. 1. If the brackets hold, Reidsville would be at Randleman in the West final.

Randleman gets the #1 seed because they don't beat opponents as badly as the Rams.

Teams are penalized in the rankings if they win by too large margins.

Being #2 may work in our favor. If Randleman get the #1 seed they will have to play E Rutherford in the 2nd or 3rd round if I'm not mistaken.

To be very honest I thought we played sloppy. Truth be told we should have been 60 plus to zero at the half.

Things happen. Dropped ball in end zone, punt return called back, snap over QB head, bad xpt snaps, fumbles, etc. Things we shoudshou be doing on week 11. Honest to God it should have been 70 to 80 to zero

Extremely flawed system ... if you are using scores and margins to rank teams, common opponents should weigh in: Reidsville beat Andrews 50-0, Randleman beat Andrews 30-8.

Mid-State 2-A pride on display tonight ... what a great game by ex-Graham QB Jamie Newman tonight for Wake Forest. In his first-ever start, he leads Deacs in huge upset over N.C. State.
Newman 22 of 33 for 297 yards and 3 TDs with 0 interceptions.

Obviously, these are not the official pairings (but I trust HIghSchool OT over NCHSAA). Reidsville would face East Rutherford (9-2) in second round with Mountain Heritage (9-1) also in that side of the West bracket.
Meanwhile, Randleman's side has Wheatmore (9-1) as second best team.

For sure, as many balls on the ground for Reidsville as they've seen all season. But first time playing on a slippery turf with damp footballs.

It's crap. Someone on Carolina Preps made the suggestion Wheatmore would beat Reidsville. Head to Head competition was BY and Andrews. They played both realitively close we beat both 110 to 0

To show you how truly sorry this conference us....the last 3 football seasons...the Rams of course are 13-0 against the teams.....but the truly astounding fact is Reidsville has scored 834 POINTS....and allowed only 18 POINTS!!!!.............avg score being 64.1 to 1.4................."please get us out here Percy" (this conference)................

If the Rams had won by 80 points the NCHSAA might have disqualified Reidsville from the playoffs for violating the "don't beat them too badly, be nice" intent of the adjusted rankings rule.:eek:

The part where it explains margin of victory is what interests me.
So is it a done deal rams get the #2 seed or possible that Randleman gets moved or any other
Not a done deal until the NCHSAA comes out with the brackets, supposedly on Saturday.

I think its a done deal. I don't know much about the new rankings, but I think Randleman will pretty much get the nod over us unless they go east. I think them beating Ledford pretty much gets them a 1 over us. Remember how poor most of our non conference did.

They had an explanation up when it was approved earlier this year. Don't know how to pull it up now.

The coach actually called the dogs off at halftime in a few games for randleman it would be 40 to nothing at halftime and he wouldn’t play none of his starters after that. Sound like he knew what he was doing about smashing teams lol. Cause they could’ve easily put up the points Reidsville did.

That PF/PA...is that a reflection on how good Reidsville or are the conference members not strong?

So randleman beats a 1-10 team 42-39 and they could do what reidsville does? Reidsville would never give up 39. And they would beat a 1-10 team by more than 3. Regardless of when game was played. In our worst game of the year we still won by 7. And I was a critic of our team that day.

Conf is awful...but we can't help it.....we outscored conf. teams this year 254-0 (4 games)....in the last 3 years...Reidsville vs. conf foes is 13-0 outscoring them 834-18..............hard to believe...but it could have been much worse in every game.......................
