I went back and looked at that catch by Jiheem Hooper again. Might have been one of best in Rams history and that's saying a lot when you consider all the great receivers they've had over the years - Jerome Simpson made the spectacular seem routine and Na Brown had some of the best hands ever in N.C. high school history.
Hooper, by the way, is not one of the primary targets. He has just 9 receptions on the year and this was his fourth TD.
As for Robinson, the sophomore who made the first TD catch: it was his first catch of the season - 44 yards and a TD.
Soph QB Pinnix has now thrown 33 TD passes. 11 different players have caught TD passes.

He looked a little beat up at one point in the game on defense. The big receiver #1 for MH was a load.
I attended this game with no cheering interest but just as a fan of high school football. Watched from the sidelines and enjoyed an excellent game. It was a physical hard hitting game. Very good pursuit & tackling on display. I was impressed by both teams play and passion. Well played and both teams did themselves proud.
Our #1 (JR, Cole Shehan WR/RB/S/LB) played an incredible game last night. He (and a few others) played just about every snap of the game. I’m just about positive that he led us in tackles last night.
Very impressive player. Thought he was your best player on the field.
Should be getting a lot of recruiting interest.

Thanks you guys did a great job Friday night accommodating our fans you guys run a first class program I really met some good people Friday night ,plus we got to watch one great ballgame hopefully we will get to play you guys again one day down the road

Because you have seen SWO or NE play LoL SWO has had their success vs west team. We hear it every time how good and so on about the west. Great football played east as well there buddy

the weird thing I see is SW Onslow won 3 games by the same score 29-20....the last 2 playoff games (S. Columbus and WRH).......WRH lost SWO by the same score twice this season 29-20 (once in regular season and once in playoffs).....that is bizarre....No surprise on the loss to Jacksonville this year but how did E. Duplin beat SWO???
Up 14-0 at half. Nor sure came out slow. It was longer halftime then normal, due to naming the field after Phil Padget. Fumbled the kickoff twice back to back times, weird never seen it ever at SWO. No excuses. Tied the game with 2 seconds left. Coached went for two and the win instead of kicking the extra point to the and go to overtime. Early in the season, had kids on kickoff that shouldn't been handling the return. Sure that up, made the switch. Hasn't happen again. Kicker is great as well missed 2 extra points all year and both were blocked. No sure what coach was thinking, but wanted to win and get off the field. Can't be mad at him for that choice. Learn from it and moved on. Made a few switches to the offense after that game as well. Playing their best ball right now. Should be a war.

Yeah below average team. Surprised we even made the playoffs. Hopefully Reidsville or Brevard can bring some decent competition for you to the finals.
lol....that below average team would make life miserable for quite a few teams.....east, west, north or south......................
I’m usually semi critical of Mountain teams because most don’t live up to their advertising in post play. But I have nothing negative to say about MT Heritage. Nothing about them is average except maybe speed, but they’ve proven even speed can be countered when everyone’s working together. They extremely good at what they do. It’s not pretty, it’s not going to wow you but it will frustrate a very good defense with their ball control offense. It definitely frustrated my two boys who both start on defense and nothing gets them frustrated. My #30 even got a penalty for fussing at his little brother #50 for taking to long to get down and firing off the ball to slow.

Rambbq just by reading most of these threads according to SWO posters I don't see any need for anybody from the West to even show up and if they do I guess they should just be happy to play on the same field with SWO I guess according to them there is not No us to even show up I believe Reaiisville is the #2 ranked team in the state in 2a ball and Mt Heritage was ranked ahead of SWO most of year according to Carolina Preps .ChrisHughes actually does his ranking on the eye test.Truth is Reidsville will win 2a champion ship..now let the names calling began...
