REIDSVILLE GIVES BAND PRIORITY OVER FANS

Fans who normally sit in the section nearest the clock were rudely evicted from their seats at the Danville GW game.

The band director taped off the entire section for the band. That section comprises 25% of the total home side seating. Normally the band takes up a few rows nearest the field.

Members of the City Council, at least one member of the School Board, and several Super 30 fans and their families were not pleased at all with this change which was done with no prior notice.

I guess the new Band Director and new Administration have different priorities. It will be interesting to see if this change remains for the Walkertown game.

At least we're giving someone's band priority because ours certainly doesn't get that treatment. Might be the worst national anthem I've ever heard every week.

1: We got bigger fish to fry with Reagan this week
2: Gotta give the band props. It was a time we had little to no band about 5 or 6 years ago.
3: I still like the band over previous regimes. More people stay on their seats.
4: You might have a point about band positioning. But don’t think it’s a huge deal

Home stands are divided into 5 unequal sections: large section in the middle, another large section each side, and two smaller sections on the end. Dont think the small sections take up 25% of the stands, but the band doesn't need all that space either. In the past the band has been in that section between middle and end towards score board.
