I think you’ll definitely score, just don’t know if you’ll score enough. Best Brevard offense I have seen. Defense is playing better and opportunistic but probably not as strong as some past Brevard team defenses.

Can’t wait for Saturday and Brevard returning to the stadium that they began their season at in June!

Going to be packed!!!

I’m an East guy, someone fill me in on how good this Thompson-Wynn kid is from Brevard.

I haven’t seen him play in person, but I know he can impact the game in a lot of different ways. But when he lines up at receiver I feel certain he’s gonna see the best DB across from him that he’s faced all year.
Yes he will.

Are you guys taking about Neal guarding him? Love watching him in bball.

Tristan is a great returner and elusive any time he’s got the ball in his hands. He and Brayden Crain (TE and DE) have been offered by ECU. Brayden does a great job but is one underutilized weapon in my opinion given his size and hands.

I know Reidsville has played a few solid teams but I do think Brevard’s guys up front will cause some problems for Reidsville. If they don’t have an answer/ adjustment for that that may decide
your ballgame.

Wynn is unique in the fact he can get his touches, which aren’t a ton, and cause problems on the majority of them. Just explosive and quick. One miscue and he probably makes you pay type of player.

Brevard’s combo of RBs compliment each other well and can make the decision to play some smashmouth if the game dictates it.

I just hope number 13 has the game of his life if starts. Seems like he panics sometimes and then starts running backwards and next thing you know it’s 2nd and 25 can’t do that and can’t just lob the ball up in the air for grabs either especially Saturday. And hope nothing happens if get behind and coaches put Neal back there it isn’t to late for him to bale them out.

Hoping for good weather, an injury free game and stands packed on both sides and of course a Rams Victory would be nice! Good Luck to All!!

Which teams fans get to sit at the children's table aka visitors side?

Looking at Brevards path, the western finals was two weeks ago against Burns, who had a chance to win it at the end and Reidsvilles toughest game was Thursday. Should be a good game and Brevard will bring a ton of fans.

Styles make fights. The teams that played Brevard the closest had power run games. Pisgah, Franklin and Burns all had bruisers.

I think we both had off games.
I rate it as Reidsville's best defensive performance of the season, especially when you consider the field position the punt team miscues put them in and the quality of athletes from Vanceboro.

Reidsville coach Erik Teague said this in an excellent article by the Greensboro News & Record today:
"We put the defense in as bad of a position as we could all night with two bad snaps, kick returns. They held us up. The defense put us on their back tonight. They stopped a good offense but gave up a couple plays here and there, had some penalties that hurt them, but we made plays when we needed to."

Not sure how they handle that but I believe I saw on a Reidsville FB page that Brevard is “home” team.
Not a good view of the visitors' side in this slideshow (maybe that was intentional?)

But it looks like L-R has a fine facility and I welcome a state championship game where the crowd isn't swallowed up by a 50,000-seat stadium like Chapel Hill. I think it will present a much better atmosphere for the game.

Question: How many artificial turf games has Brevard played this season? - not that that's a factor.

Yes all same just turf field now. There was a new gym built at front right of school probably only difference since then .
Gotta love the history of these schools with hometown names. Reidsville vs. Brevard, Shelby vs. Kinston and Murphy vs. Tarboro all fit that category this season.

There were college coaches watching #13 at the W Craven game.

LR has a pretty good amount of seating on the visitors side. They have one of the nicest DII facilities in the state.

Thats what I was thinking (Neal covering 4). But that’s just an assumption. I don’t know if Reidsville schemes it where he’s on one guy all game or what.

I have to agree.
If this game is at L-R at 11 am I’ll try to make it!

This will definitely be a heck of a game. Id say obviously reidsville is the favorites to win since they're pretty much at this game every year almost and this is Brevards 1st appearance to the big game since '82 but Brevard definitely has an athletic squad to match up well against reidsville definitely one of the most composed group of kids ive ever seen they dont panick an very coachable and the past 3 weeks they have shown a lot of focused determination. And I think this will be the most physical team that reidsville will have faced all year. Looking forward to next week and a hope the Blue Devils bring it all home

This guy!!! Ever time they play somebody with a pulse he says hope we score. Reidsville will be favored by 7-10 so yes you will.

I think it’s an inside joke they used to have with a Cummings poster. I wouldn’t get so worked up about it

Great memory Frank ... I was at all those games but can't remember what time (or even where) they were played ... senior moments, for sure.

I thought we would lose to northeastern and thought we would beat east Duplin before the games
