Lost this game because of special teams and insisting on putting Braxton Johnson in at QB at the most important points of the game when Dionte was picking them apart. Idiot Eric was once again the inferior head coach.
It’s not the Coaching staff. The kids are just not that good besides Neal and Kendre. There’s no Monsters on the D line and at Lb that We’re used to seeing. We’re now seeing the effects of the Rec league being dismantled. With the New Traveling teams that’s has emerged now you got kids who’s not going to Reidsville playing on these teams taking a spot from a Reidsville kid that’s not getting development.

Dionte the best player I’ve watched in a Ram uniform. Almost any uniform. Just pray for his health. Love that young man and his heart. Time will tell about the team itself.
Interesting point about the travel teams.
Lets not forget this is a really good Northern team that won tonight. Not sure about rotating QBs, pick one and ride.
John Madden would say "If you have two quarterbacks, you have none."
Two things killed Reidsville's chances for pulling the upset:
1. 22 penalties for 157 yards. Most of those were pre-snap penalties. Need much better focus and discipline there. Northern, meanwhile, had 5 penalties for 68 yards.
2. Field position. Northern's starting field position had to be like midfield, while Reidsville had much longer fields to cover. Northern's kicker Kobe Guardado was great - two touchbacks along with the game-clinching 41-yard field goal with 6:47 remaining. Reidsville victimized by insides kick (seems to happen every year).
Reidsville's Dionte Neal was amazing - 65 rushing yards and 2 TDs on 11 attempts, 3 of 5 passing for 34 yards, 9 receptions for 124 yards and 2 TDs. Soph QB Braxton Johnson posted some good numbers: 12 of 18 for 150 yards and 3 TDs with one pick. Kendre Harrison had 4 receptions for 31 yards and a TD. The running back combo of Michael Smith and Kasean Henry combined for 96 yards on 16 carries.
Reidsville's pass defense wasn't that bad against star Northern QB Jaxton Kemp, just 8-of-19 passing. But they couldn't stop Amare Akers, who rushed for 142 yards and 4 TDs. Rams defense was hampered with the injury loss of one star DE and the non-factor of the other star DE.

Reagan impressive in opener against Mount Tabor
Unable to stop the run was their downfall last year. Run defense look even worst this year. Very weak in the box. Every State Championship team Reidsville had Studs on the D line and at LB. This team has zero. Prove me wrong !
Hard to blame ET when you got two others calling all the shots it seems.
This was a winnable game.
1.Special teams can’t make those mistakes
2.Run defense/ we are going to have to make a few personnel changes. May have to put Mike smith in the middle along with peele. Or try samolou in the middle . May need to make some changes at olb as well. We have a plethora of athletes so hopefully we can move some pieces like a puzzle.
I’d also like to see Galloway and Kendre get some more targets.
Lastly northern is a really good team. If they beat e Forsyth next week that will be telling.
if we can defeat Regan and gw that would be great. Can’t go 0-3 in those games

They went up against Grimsley at the DJ Reader Jamboree and acquitted themselves fairly well. Could Reidsville start 0-3?
Coulda/Shouda beat Northern (leading going into fourth quarter despite all of the mistakes). GW and Reagan have really good teams as well. 0-3 could be possible.
