Holy ****! I get home from the game and there are two different posts on the front page comparing Relf to Tebow and Vince Young. Relf played relatively well, but ****, people, back away from the computer and take a big dose of reality.

I said he looks a "little Tebowish" RUNNING the ball in that he's a 6'3 235 pound guy that looks like a fullback running the ball and can take some contact without going down. He's probably even a little faster than Tebow. But NOBODY is saying Relf is anywhere in the ball park with Tebow as a QB. Its just knowing how Mullen likes a running QB there is no doubt that he had to smile a little today watching Relf run with it.

I'm just pointing out that comparing him to Tebow, Young, or Sleepy is WAAAAY premature. In his first game, he had 80 rushing yards against a SWAC school. Good day, but the comparisons are ridiculous. So him and Tebow are similar in size, but the similarities end there. I just think everybody is going overboard and needs to step back into reality.

Relf has a SWAC quality offensive line to run behind compared to what Tebow has at Florida. Whole point is, its very interesting to see us have a QB this big that can actually get out and run some.

He reminds me more of a young Jamarcus Russell. A freak with his size, speed and arm strength. He's just lacking the mental part of the game. Tonight was a glimpse of what he could be IF he figures it out.

I'd say the comparison is about right given...Relf has a SWAC quality offensive line to run behind compared to what Tebow has at Florida.
the comparison is right ONLY because they are both big dudes

He never compared him to Tebow, or even insinuated he was in the same stratosphere as tebow. He was just saying that his style of play is similar, and it is. You could tell Mullen was using him like he used tebow in the past
