I'm going to share a little lesson with everyone who is caught up in the QB wars on the sixpack. Back when Dicenzo Miller and Dontae Walker were young players, I labeled Dontae as the rb that I wanted to see out there the whole time. I didn't want to see Dicenzo b/c he wasn't the top ranked rb coming out of highschool like Dontae was. Well, we all know how that turned out. From then on, I decided that I wasn't going to worry myself with who won the playing time. I will worry about recruiting and hope that we sign good players at every position every year, but once they are on campus, I'll let the coaches sort it out as they are around them every day. As far as relf and russell, I hope they both play an equal amount because they both can contribute good things as opposed to shuffling back and fourth b/c they both struggle. But, I guess if everyone didn't fight about this, we would have to find something else to fight about. That is the sixpack way.

also after you said you weren't worried about who got more playing time, you say that you would like to see them play equal amount of snaps.

Dontae had all the ability but was toomuch of a screw up. If he had Mullen and Balis on him, he would still be playing in the NFL.

That is just a bad comparison. Dicenzo was a gamer but just didn't have the speed to get to the league. That said, in crunch time I would take Dicenzo over a lot of RBs at MSU. He could just make things happen.

I second that.If Dicenzo wasn't injured his senioryear, 2001 would've been much different. I cussed everytime Dontae waddled his *** outon the field.
