I envision Relf moving to the Kodi Burns role as a Wildcat QB, reciever/tight end position. Becoming a beast in the offense next year.

He is a very good runner, and if we can get him to block even just a little and work on catching, he could be a very good wildcat guy. I like relf, and I thnk there is enough talent in his skill set to be able to help us in the future. Definitely kept us in it today with some very key 1st down conversions.

I think he would be a great possession receiver. Bring he in to the wildcat to run a little option. He is a natural runner so those quick tosses on the line would become exciting plays.

This offense was most effective with Relf at QB this year. I know nothing about Newton. However, Relf proved he can do what is required in this offense. I can imagine him getting better and gaining more knowledge of the offense during the off season and spring too.

I say he goes into the spring as the #1 QB and Russell as the 2. It will be up to Newton to prove he can beat Relf out in the spring. Also, I see the role the QB in this offense being reversed next year. The athletic QB plays primarily. The pocket passer comes in second under certain conditions. So, Relf will be the starting QB or #3 next year.
