Huggs says he's doing it to give his freshmen more experience. No doubt they need it. But I'd rather just let this miserable season come to an end with the Big 12 tourney.
That's laughable. If I was a betting man I'd put my money on WVU over the Herd, even as bad as we are this year.

I doubt you will see anyone gloating over playing in a buy in tourney at the end of the year so you can get extra games.
Herd can't afford it. Unless the State Legislator passes a bill for it. IMO Herd will be NIT. If not then it shows how weak CUSA really is.
More likely that he'd relish the opportunity to once again dash the hopes and dreams of the Herd faithful like he did last March.

That was like a great year for the herd. One of our worst years and we are playing in the same tournament. Go figure.
