I really don't get why people get worked up. The mad folks on this board tonight come from 2 camps. 1. Idiots who talked themselves into believing we could compete with Alabama. In the prediction thread I was trying to come up with the best way to say, no mater what the score is, it will be obvious the entire game that we have no chance to win it. That's basically what it looks like. 2. The people who thought we were going to get killed. This makes no sense. You knew we had no shot and now you're mad because it's true. I guess you can be mad because you want to be competitive with Alabama, but let's be real Kentucky will never ever be competitive with a program that is sitting on the top of the hill in college football. It's been obvious over the years with Florida in the 90's and now it's obvious with Alabama.
Shreveport is always my #1 goal..if you want to watch upper-echelon college football that shoots for more than a .500 record go watch Louisville
I think a special bowl game be established in Branson, MO between UK and KU. It would be called the Basketball Bowl with the football game in the afternoon in a cow pasture and the basketball teams playing at night in the Andy Williams Theatre. This would be reality TV at its best. Mitch would certainly approve as it would be a Christian program. The double header would be so successful it would become an annual event and A SEC TV ratings success.
