Bump. It needs to perform well in baseball. If everything runs smoothly, it will transfer to football and basketball. Hopefully there are no problems.

Pretty cool service. And probably better that he starts with baseball. Much easier to start out with crowds of 10,000 than with crowds of 55,000. Good luck to him.

I just checked it out. There's no where to customize your order (condiments, jalapenos on nachos, etc...)

They could also do a better job of describing each food item.
And their menu should include the good food you can get from the individual stands (dippin-dots, sausage dog)

It would also help if they added an "Average Wait Time" for orders. Not many people are going to want to place an order if delivery time is significantly longer than it takes to get it themselves.

How large (or small) of a staff will be employed for a home football game?? Will orders no longer be accepted after a specific number so the staff can catch up? Or will I be getting my nachos delivered to my tailgate after the game? Will the dawgsnax staff wait in the normal concession lines with everyone else or will they have walk up service like a waitress getting drinks from a bar?

Just curious...

I'll just reply to all these at once.

I believe they will have a wait time on there. I believe the service will pause if the wait time gets to backed up, and then open back up. I'm not sure what the actual amount of wait time to cut it off will be. It's on MSU to keep the # of staff big enough to handle and get it out. If each game there is a stop, that should just give MSU the heads up to put more staff.

They will not wait in lines like you and I do. They are part of the concession staff.

I'll give him the feedback about condiments and descriptions.

I'm not sure he can do the papa johns, etc. It's run through Aramark and I don't know if they have anything to do with those specialty shops.

He's also already got other universities getting started for baseball, so he'll have plenty of compliments and complaints I'm sure.

It's a long way till football season, so test it out during baseball, give feedback and hopefully this thing will run smoothly from there on out. If you have any questions, I'll be happy to pass them on. He's @getsnax on twitter and has a facebook too you can contact him on.

If I'm not able to use this service this Fall because if AT&T's ****** game day 4g coverage, that may push me over the edge to finally switch to Verizon.

Even if there's a 15-20 min wait on this, not having to crawl across 30 people, miss part of the game, and spend 20 min in line is well worth it. All for just a 99 cent surcharge? All I can say is that they better get ready for some serious demand this football season

I know a few of the guys behind this and I can tell you firsthand they know what they're doing and that it's going to be a great service. They're planning on expanding to other schools and venues, so it could become a pretty big name. If so, it'll be pretty cool that it was created by Dawgs and started here at State.

Hello everyone, I'm one of the partners that's putting this all together. I'll see if I can clear the air on some of this:

1. Link to PayPal
2. Ability to save CC information
3.?
4. Profit!!!

1. We can't use PayPal - we had to integrate our software into Aramark's Merchant processor so that wasn't possible on this deal.
2. This may come in the future software updates, but in order to save CC information and still be covered under security requirement regulations you would have to create a login and password that you'd have to enter everytime on your phone - essentially the same amount of information would be entered when you wanted to order. We may go this route in the future though if we get enough demand for it
3. ???????
4. We hope?

Those menu items you see there were for test purposes only - the actual menu will be on there Friday. Unfortunately, our company has no control over the items on dawgsnax.com. We are just the software vendor for Aramark. They decide and customize the items sold through our software. That said, we will try to encourage them to list most/all of the items in the long run because we obviously have a vested interest in moving a lot of orders.

We will have the average wait time feature, if not this weekend but soon after that once we get some "real life data" to calculate it in real time with. That's been in the plans since day 1.

The backend of the software at the concessions stands is where your orders are routed to, they are filled as they come in without regard to who is waiting the actual line. The staff that is fulfilling the orders/delivering to the seats is all managed by Aramark - again because we are only the software vendor.

We've got a pretty complicated algorithm built into the software that will calculate the peak fulfillment/delivery capability the available staff can handle and will keep orders from coming in if the peak is hit until it clears up again. Like Rem101 said, if we see Aramark constantly hitting this peak, we'll advise them to add more staff based on the performance trends.

As of now, I believe the 7th inning will be the last inning orders will be taken via mobile ordering.

Overall, we're working with Aramark and taking everyones feedback to build a better product. Since this is brand new, we know there will be a learning curve and things we maybe didn't think of, but we'll fix whatever problems come up.

Thanks for the feedback!

I ordered nachos 2 hours ago and no one has brought them to my house yet. Am I missing something?

You must have done something wrong. Got my popcorn and coke in 5 minutes. Impressive since I live an hour away.

The faster I can get a weiner in my wife's mouth the happier she is.

Doesn't sound like she's too picky about which weiner goes in her mouth. **

Question for those of us with AT&T and no service during football games.

This looks awesome and I'd be very interested for 99 cents. But with no phone service at football games - any chance you'll add an option so we can pre-order and be delivered at either a set time or something like "end of 1st quarter", "halftime", etc?

Is the only option to pay with your card, or is there a cash option where you can pay the person as they deliver it?

The reason I ask is, how would you keep a little ******** like Will James from ordering 10 Carolina Pride Vienna Dogs and 3 fart sodas from his couch and having them delivered to Engie's seats at the game? Just wondering if there was verification on the order.

Just had some nachos and a drink delivered. Very streamlined and user-friendly front end. Whole process took around 5 mins. Best of luck you guys!
