plan for backup aircraft to extract. President Obama insisted on back up aircraft before he'd approve the mission and the military delivered. Turns out, that backup aircraft was needed after one of the helicopters crashed. So the military benefited from close scrutiny from a commander in chief who was actively involved knowing he was ultimately responsible for the outcome of the mission.

Contrast that with Trumplethinskin who blindly follows his "best generals"..."most respected generals in decades" (were these generals just commissioned since Trumplethinskin was elected?) and rubber stamps it and then has the audacity to blame the mission's failures of both loss of life and loss of a $75 million Asprey on the generals? What a piece of **** he is.

Backup transportation and QRF are standard procedure for all special forces missions.

Any comment as to why he keeps pointing fingers at everyone else for the loss of life? Frankly it is a known risk, but Trump just wants to point fingers.....great leadership

That is just your opinion and just more negative spin given to anything Trump says. Most sane folks just tune it out.

LOL! The Dear Leader BHO in his glorious wisdom demanded a backup plan. Where would the generals have been without The Dear Leader.

That's because he was too busy trying to figure out more ways to disarm the folks we entrust to fire them (our Armed Forces) He didn't want them shooting off too many either, that's why he let our readiness go to sh*t.

You right wingers really are confused. Just a few weeks ago you all were bitching about the high number of drone strikes we made under Obama.

After thinking about Count Ryroadula's post, it seems that Obama campers were bringing up drone strikes as an example that BHO was tough on terror. Maybe I'm wrong but I don't recall complaints by the right anytime we bombed the enemy. There may have been a few negative comments about bombing empty pickup trucks.

No Priddy, you're not wrong. No one on the right was upset about Obama going after Bin Laden...they may have chastised him over using only drones to fight Isis, but no one criticized him for at least taking that much of stand.

So I don't know what type of "MJ" countryroads is smoking today?
