this is not about WHERE the students are, its WHO the students are - the idiots who are in charge of "Ricks Rowdies" are just terrible
but Clemson's Littlejohn arena, which is the spitting image of The Hump, is ridiculously loud and has the same seating arrangement. There must be other reasons why it's not as loud.

The rowdies suck this year I'll be honest about that. Ideas were in place to make things better and promises were made but not followed thru on.
The splitting of the student section really killed the atmosphere more than anything,
Students just dont give a **** about the basketball team more than 1 or 2 games per year..this year it is the UM game and the UK game.
We as students are spoiled by how many tickets we get, not having to pay anything, and the location of the seats.
Today was the only time all year long the students were lined up all the way down the road before the gates opened to guarantee you could get in.
Ever other game of the season, The gates would open (1.5 hours before tip) and there might only be 15 lined up
Students know for almost any game they can walk up 15-30 minutes before tip and get in with no problem.
The fact of the matter until the students have a reason to be interested in a student group they wont be and thats the simple fact
The year the rowdies were the largest and a true united force was in 2004 when the Rowdies got first dips on SEC tickets...
and everyone joined to make sure they got them.
Im open to all ideas as always and there will be changes made in the future. Fell free to discuss any ideas here or send me a PM if you want to discuss it off the board.
