Remembering those that have fallen today

We should remember our heroes everyday, but today especially give thanks to those that gave their lives so that you may freely post on a message board. I, personally, have lost relatives in service of our country. It's ok to thank a veteran for their service. It's ok to thank someone currently serving our country. But today is to honor those that gave the ultimate sacrifice. To those that have come before me, I salute you!

Yes thanks and God bless all the veterans living and deceased, my grandfather was in WWI had a uncle and
Great uncle and other numerous relatives serve in WWII my father was in between was drafted for WWII but the war ended was never sworn in and for some reason or another never went into the service for Korea. Most if not all that generation is sadly gone

Indeed on all the above comments. And I read where Dion Booker is a Captain in the Army. Very impressive, sounds like the Army has an excellent person in their fold and a Husker to boot! And the Blackshirt Flag hangs proudly in his office.
