The article sounds very promising and makes it sound like its more then a 50/50 chance he signs with us.

The spring signing period just took another turn. Renardo Sidney, one of the top 10 prospects in the Class of 2009 appears to be on the verge of changing his college allegiances. According to a source close to the situation, Sidney is indeed visiting Mississippi State this weekend and is likely to formalize the relationship early next week. Sidney is a native of Mississippi and would be returning home. What happened you ask? Well, for starters Sidney never penned his letter of intent with Southern Cal. Our source indicated that last month, when Tim Floyd was rumored to be looking at the Arizona job, Sidney began thinking of the exit strategy. If you'll recall, the McDonald's game was a rumor mill. From John Calipari's relocation to the rampant speculation with Xavier Henry, DeMarcus Cousins and their situations all included. Sidney's turnaround definitely has caught the recruiting world off guard but hey, that's what recruiting in the spring of 2009 is all about. Our president ran on the motto of change and apparently our recruits have followed his lead.

He started the thread, so it's about whoever he says it's about. Who is this renardo sidney you speak of?

Thank God you pointed that out, because obviously nobody had a clue who I was referring to. Thanks for your wonderful contribution to the board Backer. /sarcasm
