It rightfully bashes the rule requiring players to be one year removed from high school to be eligible for the draft. It points to Mayo @ USC and Rose @ Memphis as examples of how programs can suffer when dealing with these one-n-done players (ignoring the success Oden and Durant brought OSU and Texas). It also states the focal point of the article, Lance Stephanson, may not be recruited by anyone because questions about his amateurism.

So, even though it has been discussed here before, I ask what is the risk in signing Sidney???? If the NCAA deems him ineligible, do we face sanctions for signing him? That's the only negative I see.
