He admits to knowing he has a huge image problem so everything he does moving forward looks like pr to me not sincerity.

He has apologized before for his ******** antics, but actions speak louder than words and his behavior has never changed.</p>

He is definitely sorry for his current situation. I never got the feeling that he felt sorry for what he did/didn't do. It was more of a "poor, pitiful me I screwed my life up, what can I do now," piece.

His command of the English language makes it difficult to read. I expect more out of my five year old.

Rob Jay opens by saying Sidney's father has exited his life but then doesn't touch on it again. Then, in closing, he casually mentions Sidney HAND DELIVERED a letter of apology to the AD and Stansbury, which by my accounting, is brand new information.<div>
</div><div>Two juicy tidbits that were really interesting yet he chose to fill the article with a synopsis of how Sidney came to be where he is now.</div><div>
</div><div>Here's a tip: If you're going to get people interested in his story at this point, dwell on the new ****... not stuff that happened years ago.</div>

that he can do it by dropping a bunch of weight. Somebody overseas would sign him and he could get a basketball related paycheck.

But he won't do that.

he is trying to seem apologetic. But he actually seems less apologetic then every other time he's apologized. He really is a joke. He is just one of those people that will never make it in life. Not without a handout. When it comes down to actually doing something, he doesn't know how.

his flaws have always been overlooked up to this point because everyone was waiting for him to live up to his potential. now that he's on his own with no net, he wont be able to go out and motivate himself. he will go through his entire life hoping that someone will recognize him and help him out.<div>
</div><div>ive known a bunch of guys like him in my life. their lives are filled with one excuse after the next.</div>

.....also, judging by his face, he looks to be in the worst shape of his life.

He will get into to some kind of legal trouble soon.

give John Daly a pass because they think he would be fun to hang out with. I put both of them in the same boat. Daly's would just have more liquor in it.

/I'll give Daly credit that he at least made it on the tour.

including one of the greatest stories ever in golf in his out of nowhere victory at Crooked Stick in 1991. He was the ninth alternate and only got in the tournament because Nick Price dropped out. I'm pretty sure he was sleeping in his car the first two nights and had never played a round of golf there till the first day. John Daly is 17ing awesome. Renardo Sidney is just fat. Lots and lots of fat people in this world. I'm not sure why everyone has to continue to **** on Sidney. He was once the #1 rated HS basketball player. Then he got fat. He hasn't committed any crimes unless you count what he's done to his body as a crime. Let it go. I do wish he loses the weight and gets "it" back because it'd make a helluva story.

Dawg61 has a point, though. At least Daly accomplished something. He did take a big giant dump on it afterwards, but at least he had something to screw up.

tied for 12th place at the The Greenbriar. So Daly's income is comparable to Sidney's calorie intake.
