Because he has lost all discipline. Those last two pitches he swung at...

Never had a chance of being strikes from the moment they left the pitchers hand. You have to read hand position, down angle, and type of pitch. Those balls all came out of the hand to the side and being change ups, never had any chance of crossing the plate.

If im not mistaken, he grounded out on 3-1 curve ball away with bases loaded in Oxford this past weekend. He should only be swinging at fastballs in that situation. No 17ing way he should swing at anything offspeed in that hitters count with bases loaded. Partly on him and partly on coaching.

That DP last weekend hurt us and he's had two key situations here tonight and he

hasn't produced. He's got to get it together for us to have any shot in the post season.

Same thing this AB with runners on... Good to lay off the first one, then goes golfing for one WAY off the plate... Then flies out.... Just like you said, He tries so hard to kill it he's lost any discipline.... We really needed him to come through for us right there...

Yet another blown opportunity. He has zero approach. He's trying way too hard to make something happen that's just not there. Renfroe has had three key RBI opportunities and has blown every one of them.
